You hit it on the head NW.. Brady is a good outside shooter, but that's about it. And you are right, if he's anywhere else in the city, even Temple Christian, he's coming off of the bench.

So there's 5 players talented enough at every school in the area INCLUDING Lima Temple Christian to score 24 on a VERY talented 15-4 Mansfield Senior team? Does Temple Christian even have a kid that has scored that many in game all year? Not at Perry, Bath, Shawnee? I think only school he wouldn't start is LCC and Elida. You don't seem biased against Allen at all. I know it's not a lot but had 10 vs elida too. If the team wasn't selfish and played for each he could do well with the quickness and athleticism that team has dribble penetrate and kick to him but that team is everyone for themselves. I think you're confusing athletes and basketball players.

DW. Calm down Junior... Tell me, where was your Mr. Allen in the LCC game? And you couldn't be further off base. I've know Shawn Allen and his family for years, no way in hell I'd root against him or his kids. Just my realistic assessment of Bradys skill set. His role on that team is of an outside shooter. Wow.. Hope you didn't pull anything jumping to conclusions.

So you stand by not starting anywhere in Lima? Not a conclusion, you stated that. Did I say he would start at LCC and he can't have a bad game especially when he less talented? I'm just saying to say he couldn't start anywhere is a bogus statement LCC No Lima Temple Christian really? They might have 20 boys in the entire hs and he couldn't start there? Sounds like a low blow I DO NOT agree with a lot that Shawn does even think Brady prob plays too much at times but to say he wouldn't start anywhere and all he can do is shoot is a shot at the kid IMO

I don't know that I would call him a HUGE talent. ..he's playing against small schools for the most part, because he is at LCC.

They almost beat 2 very good teams Spencerville and Crestview. I think they end the year with Van Buren and Allen East. I have heard he has pretty big D1 offers.

Ok, I'll give you Temple.. But Elida, Bath, LCC, and Shawnee. I think he comes off the bench. Do not get me wrong, when his shot is falling he can be lethal but there are other areas I don't think he is as gifted as some in.. Defense, going to the hole and drawing contact.. Not knocking the kid at all. Just like there are some kids that need to focus on the post and rebounding and not jacking up threes all the time.

Agree to disagree LCC is only team he for sure wouldn't start in my opinion. Probably not Elida but I think he could start at Elida at one of other 3 spots not taken by Mathias and Wilson. Bath outside of Sullivan is not real solid. Shawnee is not very good either. Perry not very good without Hodges. Not saying he would but I think he could possibly start at those schools.

I was told that Quincy Simpson was at the LSH game last night cheering loudly for the Spartans.
Sources say that he had 3-4 Spartan players huddled up before game discussing something.
My wonder is why is he at Lima Senior game when LCC played last night also?????? HMMMMMM!!!

Maybe because of the coach???

LCC has played 8 D2 teams and 1 D1 team. I wouldn't say that is mostly small schools.

Coach Q was at the Lima Senior game last night cheering for Lima Senior because 1) He is a Lima Senior grad 2) He has and is still Coaching and Mentoring numerous Lima Senior players 3) Dejorr Gibson (Mansfield Sr) was back and Q was showing support for him. Do not try to make anything more out of it than that. HMMMMMMMMMMM

X is easily a Div I point guard. Probably a high level Div I by the time he is done. Allen is a very good player too. I don't agree that there are a bunch of schools he wouldn't start for...
I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

Sorry but your wrong here. Kids get offers all through high school. Some even in Jr. High. Not saying it's right but recruiting is a cutthroat business. If a school waits to long, they may miss out on a kid they really want. I believe USC had a QB commit in the eighth grade a few years ago. I'm sure young Mr. Simpson has a drawer full of offers. And deservedly so.
