Which Eagle team is going to show up Thursday, the team that beat Bath or the team who let Mccomb take them completely out of their game. Would think Arcadia would be favored in this one. Have not seen them play so do not know if they can handle LB's inside game. If they can, could be long night for the Eagles. Not sure POY Ms. Palmer will be able to be contained either.

An Eagle win could mean a 4 way tie for BVC championship of 2 loss teams. Really didn't see this as a possibility.

If Arcadia wins thinking it will be by 10 - 15 points. If Eagles are victorious it will be by 4-6 points.

Arcadia is a bit overrated in my books. Their schedule has not been all that tough so their record could be a bit misleading. Liberty Benton is good but not as good as they once year last couple years. I think this game will be close, but Liberty Benton will wins this one with some late free throws by 7.

There will be no secrets in this game, both teams may be tops in the state at scouting and game planning opponents. Most see the Myers/ Palmer matchup as the key, but look out for the Glick/ Simon matchup too. Glick will HAVE to stay out of foul trouble for the smaller Redskins. LB has and advantage under the hoop.

Arcadia has one league loss, not sure who beat them but I picked them to win league from day 1. Surprised LB got beat by McComb. I think the 'Skins win by 7+. 52-44

I've been on the Arcadia bandwagon from day 1 this year. They are as good as their record btw - if you haven't watched them, come out and see what is one of the best point guards I have ever seen(BVC) in Miranda Palmer. She is legit - and DII schools (UF...cough, cough) are really missing out on this girl. Cramer can flat out shoot it and Glick is very athletic and gives them some height. The only knock on this team would be they have a limited bench...ok, they have no bench.

LB better come ready to play and pray that Arcadia doesn't go 8-12 from the 3 pt line like they did against Arlington who has been GREAT all year on defending the 3, or it will be over early. LB does have talent and coaching to win this one though.

This could the first and only time I ever root for LB in a league matchup...but a win by LB and a win by Atown equals a split BVC championship for us. I'll take it.

Best 4 players in league getting after it. Best 2 wearing red. Arcadia supporting cast more athletic but LB more fundamentally sound/better program. Bench hurts both teams. Arcadia should win given their experience and having a player like Palmer. Would like to say Arcadia in a romp but they haven't played against talent like LB's top 2 or against a program with the kind of fundamentals LB brings. Arcadia struggled against a fundamentally sound but so-so St. Wendelin team.

Arcadia has not played anyone for me to think they rank amongst the elite class of Division 4 this year. If they beat Liberty Benton that might get them there. Their two losses Ada and Leipsic and barely beating P-G is what really concerns me about them.

LB lost to the so so team as in SW! Score is 24-24 right now but I look for LB to pull out a squeaker.....

Congrats to Arcadia on winning the BVC outright, I have thought that they were the best team all along in the conference and of course, I love watching Miranda Palmer play. Hands down POY in the BVC this year. Good luck in your tourney run and may as well keep the state championship in the BVC :).

I just don't see that happening. But good luck to them though.

I agree state title is very optimistic but why pee on their cheerios? Who is going to bet against Palmer the way she is playing right now? I thought LB coach was very classy with his comments in the paper today about Palmer and how he has enjoyed watching her the last 4 years. Really gave credit to her and her teammates rather than beating up his team as he knew the effort was there. No wonder he cranks out good teams annually at LB.

Why pee on their cheerios? Becasue they beat LB and Common Sense doesn't understand that sometimes teams are better than LB.

Will Arcadia win state? Probably not - but give them credit where credit is due. They have the best team in the BVC and that itself gives them a legit chance to make it far in tourney - see past winners. Ottoville is the best team in Ohio but lost their 2nd best player to a torn ACL so the door is open slightly and a team like Arcadia that shoots it lights out and has the best PG in NW Ohio just might have the team that can make it happen. IF they make it out of sectional, I think they walk into Regionals b/c their district won't be as hard as their sectional.

Sorry CommonSense but why so bitter on a team like Arcadia that only has a team like this once in a great, great while? They beat us like a drum this year and I was the first to admit they are better than us - why can't you do the same?

post.... i wouldn't say that Arcadia's district is easier than thier sectional when they will have to play another team from their sectional. They actually got the easier of the draws in my opionion in the sectional and will face either New Riegel or a very ,very good Carey team in the district finals. If there is a tougher sectional out there I would like to see it.
