We have a very nice crowd for this one. A lot of Clyde fan have hung around to check out two more of the powerhouses in Division II. Hoban wins the opening tipoff but an offensive foul by speed 5'8'' senior Allie Griffith will give it to Bellbrook. 5'6'' sophomore Hannah Songer drains a 3-pointer! On the other end, Donohue is fouled and she'll shoot two free throws. She makes them both.

Bellbrook trapped on the sideline and they'll have to call a timeout. Out of the timeout, Songer misses a 3-pointer and here comes Hoban. A jump ball will give possession to Bellbrook. Hoban with a full-court pressure and Bellbrook casually strolls through it. Etter misses for Bellbrook and Songer picks up a foul. Bellbrook with a full-court press that is easily broken through.

Hoban coach Scott Callaghan hollering at his team to "grab the ball!" A turnover forced might calm his anger momentarily, but his team gives it back over to Bellbrook. A 3-pointer by Etter puts Bellbrook back on top. An offensive foul gives the ball back to Bellbrook and Callaghan is very upset at the officials now. Turnover Bellbrook and a foul called on Bellbrook by the official that got the lashing from Callaghan...

Earlier today after the Clyde/Winton Woods ballgame I made my way down to the scorer's bench
where I was able to meet the one and only Muva aka Tfloangel....for many years she was the voice
of reason pertaining to the Hiland Hawks girls basketball program........both Flounder and myself
valued her opinion greatly........

Pleasantries were exchanged and she was eager to get back to work keeping the official stats.....
Kinda bummed she's not in charge of the music but I'll get over the disappointment

Not to jinx the Slicer but right now her pick of Hoban is looking pretty solid
this would probably get her back into the mix of things with half the games still remaining....

I'm not sure where she learned everything about the girls game, but I hope that she gives credit
to both Flounder and myself at some point if she does end up winning this..........

Of course ALL the credit goes to the two of you, 'cause " I know nothing " <---in my Colonel Schultz voice-about girls' bball, except what I read in the Rocketman & floundear polls and the general posts here from our most knowledgable RC hoops guru-members ......but then, if/when I fall on my face, you're responsible, too!!
