What games(besides the scrimmage) have you watched Marion play?Your info on Marion seems to be from earlier in the year.

DSJ game, and I watched a little bit of the St. Henry and Minster games on TV.

I heard Goodwin talk on the radio around week 5 or 6, and at that time he had 8 sophomores and a freshman starting. If this still holds true the Flyers are going to be a juggernaut the next few years. Get em now b/c that will be your only chance

I'm sure the other MAC teams might have something to say for that. ;) Although, I agree with your sentiment as a whole :thumbup1:

Several people thought the same thing about the 2009 Blue Jays, but one set of Flyers nearly stopped them and the next week another set did stop them.

Marion's changed quite a bit from the DSJ game, even. I don't think ML is too different than year's past, besides formations. Marion still wants to run the ball first, then pass if it is open.

Meh, I don't see the run dominant power running game from year's past this year. I'd say they definitely run more now from the start of the season obviously, but nothing like previous years in my opinion. I'm not saying that's a bad thing though.

Both coaches have a common connection. They both played at Findlay University for the great coach Dick Stroum [don't know the spelling]... I think that both coaches respect each other and the game will be well coached and played by both teams!!!! And the findle score 28-24!!!! I,m hoping McComb on top!!!!!

I don't know McComb's coach, but I have heard nothing but good things.

Tim Goodwin of M-L is not only a great coach, but a great all-around guy.

Good to see two good guys having success unlike some coaches that will remain nameless that do not deserve it!!

I beleive that both coaches are students of the sport and have the earn the respect of their players and schools... With this being said, they get the most out of their player for the whole game. Thats why I think this will be a very good and close game!!!! GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS!!!!!

Man, opposing coaches must really pound the name "Jerry Brown" into their kids' heads. The week leading up to each game he get so many new followers on twitter from the opposing team.

I'm guessing they think they're actually following the Governor of California?

Jettinghoff is pretty mature... If you're going to talk smack AT LEAST back it up on the field. calling names at an opposing player only to get 21 yards on 15 carries I believe?

Trash talking between players is part of every game. Please read Brown's twitter. And Jettinghoff would have had more had your entire defense not centered around him getting the ball :)
