Maria Stein Marion Local is nowhere near Marion.

calvert_alum was also the one saying DSJ would be heading down I-75 to go to Leipsic in rd. 1.

Lima makes the most sense. Had DSJ won, I would have bet the farm DSJ-ML would have been in Wapak.

McComb will have to play better than they did against DSJ in the first 3 quarters to win this game. Bertke is much better than Boggs and will have a hay day back there picking the McComb defense apart. Brown will have to have a great game as well. DB play will be focused on heavily this week in McComb I'm thinking

Early prediction is Flyers 35 Panthers 21

Noticed Panthers were playing last night without their starting safety, any chance he'll be back next week? Looks like that created a few position changes in their defensive backfield. I agree with BlueJay, pass defense and tackling must be better next week.!

Congrats Panthers - enjoy the victory today and then back to work tomorrow.

Does anyone reading this know calvert alum? A map of Ohio would make a great Christmas or birthday present. :)

It could be in Findlay. They have done it before in 2008 when ML played LB for state semi.

I can see this score being pretty close to reality. McComb will indeed need to be focused against the Flyers. ML will be a much stiffer test than DSJ.

Good Luck Panthers!!

Agree with this seems like a pretty logical guess. I would love to see McComb win this but they will need to play better. IMO Marion is better than DSJ especially throwing the ball and McComb strength is stopping the run. I can see this being a great game and McComb can win but they need to play their best game of the year. Even though they have won all their big games if they play like they did against LB, Leipsic and DSJ I feel they will lose by a TD or 2. I think they will play well and it will be a great game but I am still thinking...

Marion Local 28
McComb 21

With Marion scoring a late TD

Yea, McComb was missing a DB who played a play or two late. They also subbed in their wide receiver Brandon Ishmael in on defense for the first time this year. DSJ seemed to try to attack him at this point but he came up extremely clutch multiple times with some knockdowns and such. Look for him to see some time on defense this week. Fastest kid on the team.

I think Calpreps misses this one......I have seen both play......it will take a special effort for McComb to win this one.....not saying it can't be done, but ML is a very good team!!!!!
