Defensive end for DSJ is a complete monster. I think he is #57? Maybe BlueJay can help me out here.

Kody White is the player you are asking about. He has really come into his own this season and played very well.

McComb's d-end #21 isn't bad either...
150 lbs dripping wet and has a good enough motor to be voted BVC's lineman of the year...
Not sure which is dumber... An idiot or one who argues with an idiot!

Why don't you just throw in the whole D-Line into that one. The difference between the '10 team that played Delphos and this team is that the '10 team was extremely good at defending the pass and had a lot more athleticism than this years team. This years team, is a lot better in the trenches and will be able to stop the run of Delphos a lot better. The '10 Delphos team was also a lot better tho too.

Will it really be any different than previous DSJ/McComb/BVC matchups? I've seen this movie before and it dosent end well...

I'm going to watch the "director's cut" with the alternate ending this year. ;)

I think this is going to be a closely contested game. I know you can't always compare scores, but here's what's happened so far this season...

McComb, Leipsic and LB all played very close games

LB beat Fremont St. Joe easily in week 1, and after a slow start, DSJ put FSJ away last Friday, dominating the 2nd half.

DSJ lost a close one to LCC in week 1, and LB just beat LCC in OT Saturday.

All those things tell me these teams are very evenly matched. It may be one of those field position games that a big play (turnover) or two may make the difference. Unlike in '10, both team hang their hat on running the ball. So whomever can establish the run game will have an edge. Look for special teams, punter, kicker, return games to have a say in the winner of this one.

I'll take McComb in a close game. DSJ is down this year, but playing solid ball. I think DSJ matches up well with McComb and will make this game closer because of that, but McComb in my opinion has the better team this time around. I'm more interested in how McComb will handle themselves if they win, because they will be ecstatic, yet they need to keep their heads, because the road won't be any easier in the next game.

Now I really like the Jays chances!!!!!

Just my opinion I think McComb finally breaks down that wall. Going to be a good one I think. If the Jays have struggles in the passing game they are going to find it tough to move the ball on the Panthers.

I truly think it comes down to Buck's performance. Teams from this point on should be able to slow down a one man show. Arlington showed they could for a majority of the game and without McCombs tough defense they may have lost in the 1st round. Wilson showed he is a player last week, now it is Buck's time to shine. He doesn't have to be perfect but if he throws INT's and has trouble throwing simple out routes, hitches and bubbles that spells TROUBLE for the Panthers. Good luck to the Panthers in what should be a great regional final game.

The McComb Quarterback...when Jerry Brown isn't lined up as QB. And tbh, I think teams at this point should able to SLOW DOWN Jerry Brown, but they will not stop them, and the moment they think they have, the other weapons will make the other team pay. I hate the common misconception that McComb is reliant on Jerry Brown, the stats were posted on a separate thread for the McComb vs Leipsic game. LB is FAR more reliant on Mitch Linehart and running the ball than McComb is. Also, none of this matters if the other team can't score the ball :bow2:

On top of that, DSJ is far more reliant on their run game than McComb is.

How can we ever think of winning this game when all we are is a lowly #6 seed? Will the ghosts of Rusty and Dusty finally haunt us ?

Don't forget the Willson boy, the other running back!!!!! He's not a power back, but he is one who, if he gets a step on you,can be gone!!!
