...DSJ WAS favored in every D6 game they played last year, even the state semi game against ML considering they beat them earlier in the year.

They lost to the state runners up in DV, LCC and a DI school from Michigan. And then ML in week 14
Okay, so you are telling me that Kentucky (i know this is basketball but perfect example) is just as good this year as last year, considering they lost their whole starting lineup?

You can stop putting words in my mouth. What game against a DVI school was DSJ not favored in last year? Which game against a DVI school has ML not been favored in this year? I'll be waiting for your answer.

Three years or three days a loss is a loss. Shouldn't you be rolling out the basketballs now instead of watching game film of a loss. Are you looking for a way to make it a win even if it is only in your mind.

A lot of the DSJ community watches the film from the previous week's game. It is always on Thursdays but due to Turkey Day, they move it to Monday. It is put on by the Boosters. But by all means keep talking about things you don't know about

I wasn't quoting you. I am just using your logic, "if they win the championship they are favored in every game (in their respective division)" and ML is not favored in the McComb game. There is my answer. Drew Pasteur is a pretty smart guy, and he has been right about McComb up to this point.

ML is a 3 to 1 favorite over on the Puddle. Leading the poll on yappi as well.

ML has a lot returning from last year's championship team. They are the favorites in this match up, just as they have been in every playoff game this far.

Again, so has McComb... You still are not proving anything. McComb is the favorite. Best defense in D6 football and the best offensive player in D6 football. Usually leads to success. :nerd:

Word of advice... let the game be played before you start running your mouth. I really hope McComb doesn't underestimate ML the way you are... because they will be in for a long night. Should be a good game... however, I gotta go with the champs at this point.

McComb is not the favorite. Look at it this way..

The defending DVI state champion (who won by 40 points) with 5 state titles under their belt who has not lost to a DVI school since DSJ in the regular season in 2011 who returns their star quarterback and plays in the toughest small school conference in Ohio

or a team in the state semi finals for the first time in nearly 30 years who just barely managed to beat the team who finished #4 in the same conference Marion Local is in?

Marion Local is the favorite. There is absolutely no question about it.

all caps for you YOU CANNOT COMPARE THIS YEARS TEAMS TO LAST YEARS. McComb is returning basically their whole team from last year. McComb played 1 quarter against DSJ and beat them. If they play 3 or even maybe 2, they will beat Marion Local.

I can't compare the team to last year...but virtually the whole team is back?? That makes lots of season.

And Really because the game that I was at had four quarters played.

You are pretty confident. Have you seen M-L play? I'm thinking not once. You say McComb has the best defense in the state, yet DSJ scored 21 on them. M-L held DSJ completely scoreless. Just sayin'!

again, McComb played 1 quarter against DSJ. They weren't themselves for 3 quarters then play for one quarter (the 4th) and made them look like they don't belong in the MAC. After Marion Local's breakdown against St. Henry in the 4th, don't see it being much different for McComb. Except McComb won't go down as big. They will hang in for 3, win it with 1.

M-L didn't have a "breakdown." They're RIVALS.

And no. McComb played 3 quarters. DSJ just played a little better. And you are getting a little bit carried away. This DSJ team lost three times in MAC play. You beat them in the closing minute, and now suddenly you made them look like they don't belong in the MAC? You're hopeless.

I am just going based on what i have seen and know. You are treating ML as if they are Coldwater. And rivals or not, what happened to them was a breakdown. Patrick Henry and LB are rivals, I suppose the two picks by Gabe Jones wasn't a breakdown either?

ML actually lost a lot from last year's team and is pretty young. That's not to say they are weak by any means though. They will probably even get better as long as they have a replacement for Bertke.

Bertke is only a junior I believe.

My mistake, I thought he was a senior. They should have even more ammo next year then.
