i would think that they theoretically would extend 4ever too, but, that's not what i understood them to say..and if that is in deed the case, why would they have reason to mention it's the same in the NFL?

Okay, that makes more sense. I was under the impression that they called it no good simply because it went higher than the uprights, which is wrong.

They are just a bunch of idiots. I checked the NFL and NFHS rule book and there is absolutely no mention of it. Like charliesheen said, the uprights extend infinitely above the uprights.

it didn't make sense to me, but, i'm no scholar , so it was interesting to me~~ and why i took the time to go back & post it after i had already made my qtly update..... thanks to u guys for schoolin' me & the rest of us that were listening & confuzzled by the concept.
