Are you claiming that if you go to DSJ or any other catholic school, that you have to be brainwashed into a republican extremist's stance on everything. I sure hope not.

Not once did I mention anything about republican extremist's stance..........comprehension is sometimes a forgotten skill with you 'Bucki'.......you must get so excited that you completely forget what the post says.....understandable!!!!

I don't even vote because it's a bunch of BS anyways, but I have to say, every time I saw Josh Mandel's commercials with himself as a soldier, all I could bring myself to think of was the movie "The Manchurian Candidate" with Raymond Prentiss Shaw. :D

I will say, that I admired Mandel more so than Brown, simply because he gave part of his life to this great country of ours.......Sherrod Brown is a phoney also.....as are most politicians....if you will all notice, not once did I rave about the republicans.....but surely, anyone in their right mind can see what is happening with this Obama dude....read my first post.....those are issues that are very important concerning the future of our country......hell, it isn't going to affect me that much, but I do feel for people in Blue Jay's age bracket.....those poor people will eventually be paying off the debt......good luck with trying to get ahead in Obama's world.....the fiscal cliff is near, and I don't think ol Blue Jay has enough in the bank to withstand it........but hell....this Obama dude is cool....lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I have voiced my opinion enough on this matter......wish Duh Huh would show up.....I think he and I feel pretty much the same on this matter!!!!!

Because of people like me who believe that a person's sexual orientation does not define who they are as a person, and people like me who believe these people deserve the rights that the people of the opposite sexual orientation possess? That's why that word is filtered on this forum?

if you interject with your premise of presenting your argument as a religious based governmental issue, then that is the epitome of being extremist. The US would have a better chance of surviving a Russian nuclear attack than bringing religion into government dealings. That's just suicidal to a country.

As I stated earlier though...even if you are against abortion for non-religious reasoning, it's still damn near on the list of irrelevant to the big picture of meaningful stuff that needs accomplished. Same goes for the stupid NRA BS with guns.

Perhaps, I'm just being cynical, but aren't the owners of The Grind in Delphos homosexual and possibly DSJ grads? I know of a few others at DSJ lately that graduated as homosexuals. Why have they not been burnt at the stake yet by the church.

I really don't care if he served or not. Like most things with politicians, they will do ANYTHING to get promotional consideration. Quite frankly, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Mandel joined the military with the presumption that a military record would increase his chances of making it in to office. Those political psychopaths will do whatever is possible to brainwash people into believing their propaganda.

So many strong, diverse opinions on this subject. Although I don't agree with some of the views of Bluejay and Jeffcat, I recognize and respect their opinions from my own expieriences with the people in my life. The entrenched beliefs from both Left and Right could be debated on here for 20 pages without any serious changes in opinion. Sadly, these differences are why there will be gridlock in Washington for the next 4 years.

It looks like 'butthurt' is one of your favorite words....at least you have used it quite a bit in the past year or so.....not really butthurt by the re election of Obama.....just pissed at the way he handles the issues...oh, and his failures the past 4 years....many critical issues in the near future will determine the direction this coutry is headed.....I kind of sit back and lmao at the projection by Obama and the Dems on taxing the rich.....won't work...they will simply move their wealth, and businesses out of the USA....that's really going to help......

As for me...a businessman.....I am seriously thinking about shutting it down....I am ok financially....and maybe it is time to join the 50% of the population who receive gov't entitlements....seems we are headed in that direction....keep working 'Bucki' and 'Blue Jay'....I need your financial support......man, I never thought I would be happy to be this age.....give me the free stuff...a common phrase you hear at a Obama rally....lmao!!!!!

Bingo. The way he handles the issues, both large and small, irks me to no end. As for the ones I've mentioned, which are the primary ones I fight for, Obama will have the chance to shape the makeup of the courts for years to come with his judicial appointments, and that's not a good thing for pro-life gun owners like myself. That, and his Attorney General will try to ram through some anti-gun crap. I wouldn't be surprised to see some states get so fed up with the way Obama handles things that they look for a way to impeach him or secede and start another Civil War. That's the way we're heading.

Aren't you the same person on the huddle I argued with about same-s.exmarriage? That person said it "makes them sick" but then continued to claim they weren't homophobic and had plenty of homosexual friends. Sounds to me like you're one of those crazy republicans stuck in the 19th century with your beliefs and values.

I don't know if that was me or not, but I'm not about to go against the tenets of my faith just because you claim I'm stuck in the 19th Century. I believe in the Sacrament of Marriage as God meant it to be, not man.

This type of mentality by americans is precisely why I'm moving out of the country in a few years.
