Quick question, Has LCC ever won a state title in football or at least get to the championship game?

No, 2010 team was the first to actually get to the State Semi's through the playoffs. I believe there was an LCC team in the 70s that made it to state, but to my understanding, it was not through the same type of playoffs.

I feel like Osu4Me is the one to ask about that.

ONU has recently made improvements to their facilities and I believe someone told me they were putting in field turf after this season...

Don't need a new yard anyway with Quisno handling the mowing...always looks nice.

For a second I thought you were asking if we moved the ball at all in that game against St. Henry.

LCC has been playing some very physical turnover causing defense. I have always been told defense wins championships. I take LCC by 14 but its going to be a hard faught battle to the end.

Current forecast is calling for 60 degrees on Saturday with light wind and no rain. Let's hope it stays this way so there are no excuses.

Would love to see some games at Bluffton U. It would be a GREAT "recruiting " tool for them. But they would have to add seating to the visitor side and lights for sure. We can talk turf some other time. I really do think BU misses out on some good local talent by not showing off their stadium.

Plus its only a 2 mile drive from my house!! Just sayin. :)

I've said many times that I wish when Bluffton HS decided to put $250K into their floodplain field, that they should have got together with the university and put in turf and lights on the university's field. It would have been a win win for both parties. Instead they had to deal with a "round-up" mistake by the groundskeeper that turned the field into a mud pit for the year.

Plus its only a short walk from my house. Would have been nice to charge for parking in my driveway! :thumbup1:

Still amazed that MAC fans dog the NWC when they wanted no part of LCC either.... whatever their reasons were at the time. What's done is done.... let it go.
As for the game...should be a good one.

this game is going to be darn close, a missed extra point, a late turnover, penalties will be magnified. I think Liberty Benton wins this one 21-20.
