LB wins....GO BVC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is great The Barely Varsity Conference with 2 teams in the regional final! Other two Arlington knocked out by bvc team McComb 14-0 and Leipsic lost on last second TD to DSJ. Maybe now the conference can get at least a little respect.

Here's to hoping the conference gets 2 wins vs two great programs in PH and DSJ and sends 2 schools to the final 4.

I didn't think so, just something I heard from an overzealous LCC fan. Though Huffman could possibly become the next Zach Domicone.

Possibly but he won't be given a scholly by tOSU like Zach.

What offers does Huffman have? I think he would thrive in a place like Mt Union with Larry Kehres.

LCC was plain and simple out coached tonight. Liberty Benton was the better prepared team. The T Birds have how many D- 1 athletes on their team? LB, probably none. Great job eagles Coach Nichols had you ready which is more than LCC fans can say about Coop.

Lcc was outcoached, I agree. Great game by lb

Man, one hell of a game. Both games, last year and this year, have been in the top 5 best Highschool games I've seen. Congrats to LB. and congrats to BVC for two in regional final! GO EAGLES

Again Cooper panics when down (this time only by 3), starts passing when the running game has been working. LCC had some nice blocking on the traps at 1st, LB started to shut that down and then the outside opened up. Some real nice blocking on the outside as well. Why in the world is Cooper considered a good coach again? I just forget why (seriously).

Good solid coaching by LB and players executed well.

Good luck against PH next week.

I think most in the NWC recognize that Fell is the best coach in the conference. Cooper just has the easiest way to get Ws based on where he goes and what he has to work with.

Correct, Coop has had some teams that were loaded the past 2 years and went 1-2 in the playoffs.

Congrats to LB!!!!

I made the comment prior to the playoffs that I would welcome a LCC/LB rematch. Some of the LCC posters took my comments out of context, and responded sourly "be careful what I wish for".

Well.....I will say it again, I welcome a game three in 2013.

Way to go Eagles!!!!!!! Go BVC!

He's got basically Ivy League and possibly some Mac?

Lcc got out coached no doubt. Good game by lb and good luck against Patrick Henry.

I already mentioned I think lcc got out coached but because they went away from the trap? Lol not the reason why he was outcoached....

If I was Huffman, I'd go Ivy League. He could shine there too, plus you get the education...assuming he gets a full ride of course.

To my knowledge Ivy League doesn't give athletic scholarships, but they can offer you a spot on the team.

Of course I could be wrong.

You are partially correct. They do not technically provide NCAA scholarships, BUT from my understanding, they do offer significant funding within the school for their athletic programs from various scholar athlete scholarships in house and from outside endowment funding which can really add up to a significant amount of money. There are Ivy League athletes on "full rides" even though it's not NCAA athletic scholarship based.

While the might not be NCAA. They do offer full rides.....women's basketball Brogan Berry from Dayton Carroll ( do I have the school right?) just Grad from Harvard on a full ride.
