I'm just guessing LCC will not be taking Liberty-Benton lightly this time around.

To be honest, PH fans did throw a fit also a few years ago.

Why would the game being in Findlay make any difference?

For the game....probably not much. For the fans....I only have to drive about 3 to 4 minutes. :)

Nice field *******ty stands. If you like sitting behind huge steel poles then I guess it's okay.

Luckily LLs replacement isn't terrible, but it's going to suck having him going both ways.

& If LB can't have the game at home, then Findlay is the next favorite. We have to drive a mile down the road. ;) BG & Lima Senior aren't too bad though either.

It shouldn't, but both times LB has played there, in 07 versus PH and 08 versus Marion Local, there were a lot of complaints that this was a essentially a "home" game for LB and was considered some sort of unfair advantage. For the record, we were 1-1 in those two games. And last night was the first time this group of kids has ever been on this field, so its not like they are real familiar with it or anything.

There is no neutral site that makes sense for these teams to play at, therefor, the site should favor the higher seed, LCC. The suggestion that BG would be a good place would be similar to saying Wapak would be a good place. Logistically BG makes no sense. It simiply has to be at either Lima Stadium or Findlay Stadium unless some how they convince a school like Bluffton U. to host the game.

I'm also guessing Findlay. The state really don't care if its equal as long as its not on the teams home field. Same happened with PH and Tinora at Defiance. But really I don't think it really matters too much either. A nice field is much more important.

LCC can't turn the ball over 5 times and expect to win this one like last night. LCC has better athletes, Liberty Benton has betting play calling. The play calling got to LCC last year but I believe the athletes win out this year. Sam Huffman is the difference maker, he is the leader of the team (wonder where he gets his leadership skills from) and as a Junior last year, he was missed.

I will go on record and say there is absolutely ZERO chance the game is at Lima Stadium. It will not be based simply on OHSAA rules. Lima Stadium is LCC's home field. So it will not be there. No reason to even discuss it or mention it in this thread any further.
