Expectations are extremely high in this program but someone needs to say congratulations and thank you to the Ada senior class. It is not easy to put together a resume of four playoff appearances, one regional championship game and a nwc title during their time suiting up for the Bulldogs. 41-8 speaks for itself even if the only goal that matters is a state title. This class helped to continue the tradition when many doubted the program without Zac Dysert or Heath Jackson.

"the fan" it would be better if you just stopped Mason Acheson and said thank you for all he did for this program. His leadership was invaluable to this years addition of the Bulldogs. Many young people in Mason's situation would not have stuck it out and worked his ass off to become a player. Remember the only reason he got a shot at Qb was because another kid choose not to come out after starting at jv Qb for two years. Acheson stepped in and acheived more than anyone could ever ask for. Ada fans can hold their heads up high when you have a group of seniors representing you like this class. More talented players have and will wear the purple and gold but i am not sure another class will lay it on the line like the 2012 dogs.

Kudos and the same can be said for all schools including those like Vanlue, Hardin Northern, Paulding, etc. Despite their record, you know those guys go out and try within their programs and stick it out despite not the brightest of circumstances. They will have plenty of memories and things to talk about regardless of if the teams go winless or undefeated. Hats off to all area players.

Ok..... let me try and clarify what I have been stating so that some of the thinner skinned people can move on. Based on Acheson's experience at the QB position, I think he did a stellar job. Heck, he may have been the best qb in the conference. I made a statement earlier in the year that in order for Ada to go far in the playoffs, they needed to improve at the QB position. Gzzzzzzz... that didn't mean they needed to replace Mason! Even though he did improve, obviously it just wasn't enough. If you know anything about high school playoff football, this is when your weaknesses are exposed. And unfortunately, our weakness came out in a big way. He has nothing to be ashamed of for how he performed this year. Same goes for all the seniors. You can sugar coat it all you want but facts are facts. I'm sure Mason is a great kid and I wish him the best as he moves on. Only if he could have gotten more experience at the position, I feel this years team would have been the strongest since Fell's arrival. Be proud of what these boys accomplished.

Fan, give it up. You lost credibility when you said this was Fell's strongest group since his arrival...

They had a great year and honestly, overachieved. NO ONE expected this from this team. That's why they were so enjoyable to watch. No egos...just kids playing a game they love. They were a team. The won and lost as a team.

I sure wish Mason had another year, would love to see what the boy could have done next year with a year's experience and confidense behind him. Oh well, I wish they all could have another year for that matter.

I believe this years senior class has got to be one of the best to ever come out of Ada as far as leadership and individual selflessness goes. We all know the accomplishments of all the senior starters and they will be remembered around here for a long time (heck how long will it take to break Decker's records?), but lets remember there were also 3 seniors on this team that did not see much playing time. I mention these 3 because although they did not get on the field much on Friday nights, they remained part of the team and pushed the starters in practice to get better. Lesser men would have quit, and the Ada team would not have been as good because of it.

My hats off to all the Ada team. Good games, good attitudes, good season & good memories. Thanks boys.

What you clearly can't comprehend is that to be 'thin-skinned' means that a person can't take criticism. You aren't criticizing us, but rather an 17/18-year old kid, and on a public forum, to boot.

It was stupid to do so and you yourself got called out for doing it. Just take your medicine and go home.

You absolutely have no clue. If this is bothering you this much..... you should probably just go hang out somewhere else. You need to really just get over it. You can take my statements how ever you wish, I really don't care. But, don't make it out to be more than it really is. You obviously fall into that catorgory of "drama queen"!
