Pretty sure it was this one. They let Beachwood in on Thursday per court order that John Adams get points for a win over JFK after JFK played a player ineligible by league standards but not OHSAA standards. I think it was Cleve Heights that filed the suit. They got in to play Iggy or Ed's and Beachwood in to play B'field. If Edgewood back in, looks like OHSAA won on appeal.

I'll be honest...I pick on Shadyside a lot, but it seems like they have a nice enough fan base. I do feel kind of bad for them though, because they will forever be known as "that team" that DSJ's freshman were scoring on in 1 play and they had to take a knee to not score 100+ points. They will always be known as that team from a small school perspective and that's a real tough one to shake, especially when your fanbase went into the game, thinking it was one of the best teams they had ever had before.

I still follow them on their version of the corner. They were asking about getting a parade into town last week for going 10-0. Look who they played and tell me it is worth an escort. I agree that their fans are nice and stand up for their team but they do lack some perspective. Their coach does not want to play better teams and would rather stay in the valley. They can keep drinking the kool aid but will never take the next step continuing to do what they currently are.
