If enrollment dropped enough at Senior, I could very easily see them joining the WBL, especially with the funding issues.

The WBL will never allow LS or LCC join the league as long as the current group of AD's are involved, or the next group, or the next group. Actually, LCC would have to increase their recruiting budget 10 fold to compete against the top 4 or 5 in the league in football each year. Lima Sr has a better chance of winning their current league in football than they do in getting into the WBL. But of course, Kenton to the WBL is the closet thing to I can think of to LCC to the NWC. So who knows.

I personally feel that the NWC will have a more leveled playing field without LCC. LCC needs to join a conference in which they can play better teams and get tested more than the NWC will do. Being kicked out of the NWC will benifit LCC in the long run in my opinion.

The NWC will be fine. I told an AD and a Principal when they entered that it wouldn't work and eventually there would be a push to remove them. It doesnt matter what non NWC people think, its those schools league.

More excuses. If he was head and shoulders above the rest like you claim, no one else would "need" carries.

School record came against Bluffton. He played a half against HN and roughly 3 qtrs against USV I think. Neither game were his totals great.... over a 100 but nothing like the 300 he put on Bluffton.

My 2 cents, both backs would be starters for either team. Ada's had some good RB's and Decker might be the best...he's got all the records. Broke Webb's career marks and Fleming's season marks. Not as physical as Washington but sneaky fast and very evasive. He will be missed!!!

355 rounds up to 600 in the LCC math classes for the voucher students.

14-185 against HN
21-170 against USV

Bluffton was the big game 17-329

Just looked it up....Against HN/USV 355 yds total on 35 carries for 10.1 yd/carry
Bluffton , 329 yds on only 17 carries for 19.4 yds/carry

Agree with effingA, both very good backs and deserving of whatever honors they receive

EDIT: Dang beat me whatdoiknow

Lcc simply has outgrown the NWC, it was a good ride while it lasted, time to move on people. The NWC will be fine, and Lcc will move on. Both the conference and lcc have produced fine athletic teams before 2005/06, and they will continue to do so. Once again, Lcc is starting to get some major D1 (B1G not MAC) talent on their team, playing up will benefit them and the development of these kids. The rest of the NWC communities will continue to compete at their level D5-6, and every once and a while produce some MAC quality college athletes. I think it will be interesting to see how these communities develop over time, I feel that a lot of people that grew up in these NWC communities are living and working in more metropolitan areas, not sure how many of these towns and villages have experienced growth over the past 10 yrs, I know CG has declined slightly in population, though they have had one of the biggest K classes enroll a few yrs ago.

Good assessment, and quite true. Most rural towns, including the ones in NW Ohio, are simply dying off slowly. Without creating an enormous controversy by getting into the finer details, it is happening and will continue to happen in the majority of the communities.

Why not Lima Senior?

And no, they would not have a better chance of winning the TRAC over the WBL. Whitmer, TCC, and Findlay....ummm no. Not that it matters, as Senior doesn't have a chance at winning either at the moment.
