My gut feeling is that LCC, Ada, DJ, Crestview, and Spencerville will fight it out for top honors. Not sure how Grove and Bluffton will be. AE and Paulding had a rough year last year, and not certain this year will be much better.
Not sure on who exactly is coming back. I know LCC has quite a few studs coming back. Ada has Decker but not sure who will fill Baker's shoes. Delphos was young and I think that young RB is going to have a pretty good year (think his name was Buzzard). I think Spencerville lost one of their RBs, but still have enough pieces left in that wing T to be dangerous. Grove lost quite a bit and their coach if I am not mistaken. Not sure on Bluffton. Crestview lost Holden, but still has the rest of their backfield led by Roop.
Get the talk started. Summer programs start up in about a month then two-a-days and finally kickoff the season in 19 short weeks.

Badlands.....Being from the other Bulldog school..I agree with what you said. Ada has some major holes to fill. The A Dogs will be fine at receiver and running back, but they need to find a replacement at QB. This year is probably the 12st year since Dysert was QB that the QB of "next" season was not known. The JV QB from last year is good, but he has not played a lot in the games when they were still on the line and he needs to progress quickly and step up if the string of really good QB's at Ada continues. And please, I have nothing against the jv QB ...just his lack of experience

This is correct. LCC is in the league next season (2012) but has a scheduling arrangement to fulfill contracts with the NWC schools for 2013 and 2014. The only two schools thus far to be removed from the schedule for those two seasons are Crestview and Paulding. The T-Birds first three weeks in 2012 will be the same as they have been for the past few years, Week 1- DSJ, Week 2- Crestview, and Week 3- Paulding. Then in 2013 and 2014 the schedule will be:
1- Lima Bath
2- Delphos St. John's
3- Marion Pleasant
4- Columbus Grove
5- Delphos Jefferson
6- Spencerville
7- Bryan (the Bishop Ready contract was not renewed for this week, but is believed to be on again beginning in 2015 after the scheduling agreement for week 9)
8- Bluffton
9- Allen East
10- Ada
Obviously all games listed above for these two seasons will be non-league and they will play an independent schedule.

Why wouldn't it? The contract states that the teams have to honor the scheduled games through the 2014 season. UNLESS, it is brought to the attention of LCC that one of the schools no longer wants to play them AND both schools involved must be able to find a replacement game. If, and only if, all of these things happen will LCC and the NWC teams not play in 2013 and 2014. So far, Paulding and Crestview have been the only teams to express that they do not wish to play past this upcoming season. Fortunately for all parties, they found replacement games. As far as I understand, Grove, DJ, and Bluffton have no intentions of opting out of the contract and have expressed some interest in continuing a non-league game after the 2014 season if the NWC schedule allows for it. Ada has expressed interest in staying on up through 2014 but wants nothing to do with LCC after that year. That levaves Allen East and Spencerville left. Of the two, I think both may have expressed interest in opting out of the acheduling agreement but I don't know if both teams will be able to find games to fill (weeks 6 and 9).

I'm not basing it on that scenario. I'm basing it on what Ada has communicated to LCC regarding the situation. Not to mention, no one really knows the future of the NWC right now in terms of adding teams and what not. If they add the schedule could remain somewhat in tact for people and they would still have a rotating non league week. So yes in that case they could still play. But, they won't.
