Don't get your panties in a wad. Theres No bitching here. Just stating a fact. Cooper will try to put a beat down on the NWC schools this year. Who can't see that coming? Every team is going to have to step up their game against them to prevent that. Just don't act surprised when someone points out what a classy guy Cooper is.

We get it....you don't like cooper. Thanks for the dynamite drop in.

LCC all the time, just change the name of the website to LCCCORNER! Yes you win most of the time, if your a fan you love it but do you feel like your accomploshing anything by winning on an unfair playing field? I know you argue that also but fact is you have lost the respect of the surrounding community by your methods whether done within the rules or not! WINNING is NOT nesecarily everything! I feel bad for the athletes that one day will look back and know all the awards were not earned the way they should have been!

Are you kidding me? I love looking back on high school basketball and football winning all of those games with a great group of guys. It was such a good time absolutely dominating the conference and also going to state in football and winning in basketball. We loved going into an away game knowing that we were hated by the whole community, it just made us want to win even more. It was nice to win the Don Bachman award every year we were members of the conference, I guess the other members are just soft and scared to compete. What are we teaching our kids these days? If someone is better than us just give up and kick them out of the league? The NWC are a bunch of *****es Not Wanting Competition.

I don't think LCC won the Don Bachman every year they were in. Pretty sure Grove won it last year, but I could be wrong.

By the way I am not in favor of LCC leaving/being kicked out.

9-1 if memory serves correct your presence on the rocketcorner began after losing to delphos st. john's a couple years back. Always liked the user name of 9-1 knowing "action jackson" made you 8-2 that year. Was it fun finishing up 9-3 after Tinora rocked you?

I don't agree with most of 9-1's posts but you are not accurate. His senior year was a 2 td victory over your beloved bulldogs and ended at the state semi finals.

Ps: they did lose to dsj that year as well.

And people need to check the names on the rosters of the state championship basketball team and state football team. Anyone that claims that those teams, easily our most accomplished, weren't LCC lifers, or "home-grown" as many like to call it (whatever that means), are as delusional as they come. That's why you can't worry about what others think; most opinions are ignorant.

Aaaahhh, it's good to be back in the game. Now how about my Bearcats! I believe they're going to raise some eyebrows this season with how average they are! I'm not sure if they'll put up 35 a game like they did last season but I do think their defense will be unbelievably good. Losing Molina and Lotz might come back to haunt my Bearcats this season. I hope not though. I hope Smith and Shuie can carry that Bearcat offense this year but they both have had health issues in the past and without them the running game might not be as effective as it should be. Best of luck to them though!

Or is it LCC that's a bunch of *****es because they want to stay in the, "not so mighty", NWC. If I was LCC I'd WANT out so I could get some competition in the MAC or WBL. The athletes at LCC would be SOOOOOOO much better if they had some competition. And I'm not being sarcastic when I say that.

LCC will get all kinds of competition, two schools from Michigan, one inter-city Cincy school, possibly Kelly's Island. Hope you like the drive. Can't see the MAC or WBL wanting LCC either!!!

Good point. As you said, we will be playing for championships so I doubt we will be seeing your team as often. After LCC is out of the NWC, maybe you can get rid of Ada as well so you guys can start to play for some "championships" again.
Did you see the Grove/Ada game last year? obviously other teams in the NWC can compete with Ada.... other than the one private school in the league beating everyone, competition is equal throughout the rest of the league

Umm how many conference championships does grove have since LCC has joined? I'm pretty certain Ada and LCC have taken care of those....my comment remains on point.

You realize that LCC got into the league when only Ada was superior to the rest of the league. They had some Div. 1 athletes to rely on. Now if they would have gotten into the league in the late 90's they would have had a harder time than they do now. Delphos, Bluffton, and Grove were winning the league titles then and were very good teams.

I think you're missing his point... or maybe even supporting it in a backing-into-it sort of way?

Oh well, I don't really care, I don't want LCC to be in the NWC anyways for any reason other than convenience of scheduling.

I see your point. Honestly, I would have been thrilled to see LCC leave the nwc for another, more competitive conference but that just wasn't an option. One of the main reasons schools join a conference is for the scheduling alliance and LCC would have been stupid to throw that away.

How many would Grove have if LCC wouldn't have joined?

Without looking it up, I would say probably one (since 2005). And actually probably would have been around 2005.
