That is a foregone conclusion. After that happens will John Grindrod write another article in the Lima News stating every member of LCC's starting lineup had at least one parent graduate from LCC?

That was a nice article about the LCC baseball team until he had to take a swipe at the NWC schools at the end. I'm sure that wont be the last time that happens in the next year.

Probably not...

I would like to see in the next 3 years if he could say that about the football, boys basketball teams....because it can't be said. The sophmore, freshman, and this years 8th grade classes are loaded with transfers.

Thanks to schools like yours. You will not get a chance to "kick our butt's" in the future. Enjoy playing for the private school OHSAA championship's.

Good point. As you said, we will be playing for championships so I doubt we will be seeing your team as often. After LCC is out of the NWC, maybe you can get rid of Ada as well so you guys can start to play for some "championships" again.

Your reading comprehension is entertaining. I get it just like all the NWC schools do. Do to their unlimited resources LCC is good and will be for a long time. But are they good enough to beat the other private schools to win the soon to be private division.

I don't see there being a "private division". But, the answer to your question is yes :).

LCC better get used to playing teams from all over. In today's atmosphere of public schools getting screwed over by vouchers, money going with students, etc. I really doubt if LCC gets invited to any league.

LCC all the time, just change the name of the website to LCCCORNER! Yes you win most of the time, if your a fan you love it but do you feel like your accomploshing anything by winning on an unfair playing field? I know you argue that also but fact is you have lost the respect of the surrounding community by your methods whether done within the rules or not! WINNING is NOT nesecarily everything! I feel bad for the athletes that one day will look back and know all the awards were not earned the way they should have been!

John Grinrod started it by writing that cheapshot toward the NWC.

LCC just went to the state baseball championship and there was one post (not thread, post) about it in the baseball forum. Most of the talk about LCC on here is not by LCC people.

LCC has lost the respect of people from one high school towns that care way too much about high school sports. That's it for the most part.

I'm not going to get into a p!ssing match about it though because we all know that conversation is going nowhere.

I highly doubt this is the case and who is getting awards that shouldn't?

You're right, it probably wont be the last time it happens and I dont blame anyone for it. I just cant wait to see all of the LCC football/Jerry Cooper haters coming out of the woodwork to post come September and October for the next few years when LCC wins by 40+ weekly... All of the speculation that Cooper is "running up the score" will be priceless. Just get better and build a program, not just one good TEAM.

Also, there will not be a private division. The only chance of anything being done to eliminate an "advantage" would have been Competitive Balance Pt. 1 and 2. Those both failed, there is no way a seperate division gets approved. It would be defeated by a wide margin.

If the 40 point beatings do happen, I wonder if due to the strength of LCC or weakness of the conference. I don't see LCC out to make any friends so be it as it may.

I wish it were that easy but sadly, with the mountains and valleys that come with HS sports, it is sometimes hard to stay on top. The ride is fun while it lasts.

There will be no speculation. Cooper will run up the score on everybody this year. Justifiable or not. Depends on what side you are on. I hope he likes long bus rides during the regular season in the years to come.

Season hasn't even started yet and you're already bitching. Get over it and worry about grove....plenty there to keep you busy.

I agree....the remaining schools in the NWC will have a hard time even without LCC maintaining a stretch of superior seasons like Grove, Bluffton, and Delphos Jefferson had in the 90's and 2000's.

It will be nice when LCC is out of the league. That way we won't have to talk about this anymore. Go play with yourself LCC....hope you like it.

The Northwest Conference will survive much like they have since 1947 without you. Other schools have come and gone from the conference since it's founding.

Shawnee, Elida, Ottawa Glandorf, Bath....they were all once a part of the conference. But they determined they weren't a good fit and left for the WBL.

Don't get your panties in a wad. Theres No bitching here. Just stating a fact. Cooper will try to put a beat down on the NWC schools this year. Who can't see that coming? Every team is going to have to step up their game against them to prevent that. Just don't act surprised when someone points out what a classy guy Cooper is.
