Ada and LCC haven't "communicated" in regards to this "situation". They are under contract thru the 2014 season on week 10. IF both parties want to continue to play, it will have to be week 2 or week 3, when Ada is open.

Yes, LCC has communicated with all of the NWC schools to get the sentiment on future plans. It is widely believed by several NWC schools that the league will bring in Perry again, and thus leaving the league rotation exactly where it has been in regards to having each teams non-league game rotating throughout the season. IF THIS IS TO HAPPEN, the only schools that have expressed any kind of interest in playing LCC still are Bluffton, Grove, and Jefferson. You dont have to believe me, but I am telling you this is how it is.

What decides the "best"? Pretty subjective.

LCC played those schools regularly before the NWC, so that's only natural. That's not to say that some of those schools don't opt out, but it doesn't bother me either way as LCC is an easy schedule filler.

Perry will not rejoin the NWC.

I believe you think you know, but unless Ron Williams is talking to someone other than Ada's AD, they haven't communicated. The "Perry back into the NWC" is news as well, I guess the league is making all sorts of decisions w/out input from Ada....

Believe me, Ada will play LCC in anything they want to.... Ada/NWC owe's them that much.

I think in the Near future you may see both Waynesfield and Perry apply for entrance into the NWC. I have heard that for a few different people around the NWC. Whether it actually happens or not remains to be seen.

Why can't we talk Lincolnview into building up a program? 120 boys in 3 grade levels. Size is not the problem. It's Money? Start with 7th grade. Baby steps.

That would be very interesting to see. Lview is quite the odd school though. I suppose you need to know the community and program. They have always been rather different in their sports philosophy...almost like time traveling back to the 40s or 50s when only basketball was the sport of choice. With that said, they have had their wrestling program there for a while now, so anything is possible.

Would LOVE to see lincolnview play football. When I stumbled upon their enrollment numbers a few years back I was completely shocked they didn't have football. Maybe someone from Lincolnview can enlighten us as to whether they ever see the sport at their high school.

I'd say don't count anybody out. Spencerville was picked to go 0-10 again last year for the third straight year. In just one short year they shocked everyone going 8-2. I'm not saying that will happen to anybody this year but you can't count Allen East and Paulding or anyone else out. Who knows what will happen.

It can be done..........didn't county rival Crestview re-start a dormant program about 10-12 years ago? Like almost every other school, the knights have had there ups and downs since then, but have been competitive for the most part.

I believe the NWC top to bottom will be the most competative that it has been for a long time! It will be fun to see who steps up as the class of the Conferance and what players become household names!

That is a foregone conclusion. After that happens will John Grindrod write another article in the Lima News stating every member of LCC's starting lineup had at least one parent graduate from LCC?

http://www.limaohio....cousey-one.html

That was a nice article about the LCC baseball team until he had to take a swipe at the NWC schools at the end. I'm sure that wont be the last time that happens in the next year.
