I heard Rocket has the ppt. presentation and has sworn not to let it out of his sight! He will archive it for a future comming attraction. It only has a G rating. They were trying to put a PG13 on it but there just wasnt nothing there.

Anyone that has any knowledge of NWO basketball knows Dave Kleck as the ultimate professional. He has more integrity in his little finger than any of those parents or their supporters have combined. For him to do a commentary like this one, he had to have put a good deal of time & thought into it! He cares about what high school sports is all about - the young people working together to represent their schools & learn life skills, not parents who will stop at nothing to live through their children! Thank you Mr Kleck for reminding people what is really important!

major kudos to Dave for putting it out there like that. :bow2: :bow2: .... i really wouldn't have expected it......

it's an epidemic........
as admittedly 'old school' as i am, i like to think of myself as pretty progressive, as well, but not when it comes to HS athletics..... this is all just getting so absurd with all the transferring 'for better academics' <although many are not even pulling that lampoon anymore...just doing it with no explanations nor apologies) & the over involvement of parents .....it's all just ridiculous! HS sports as a whole is going down the drain, IMO.....

Fabulous, intrepid commentary, Dave! :punk:

I've seen it all.....get me the ****** out of here, please.
Based on the attendance at the girls games, I can rest assured next to no one on this thread attended a single OG Girl's game to see it firsthand.

Thats what you think. Wrong again, TEN YEARS I have been going, and I have not missed to many games. I know how she coaches. She coached my kid. I have no problems with how she coaches.Thats why my kid turned out like she did. Lori helped her move on to play college ball, and now has a very good job. Thanks to Lori Smith. You think Lori is hard on the girls try a college coach That will give the OG parents something to really cry about.

Vicky, where did you go? You posted you were a D2 player and then you deleted your post. Don't go away mad. Just go away!!!!! (JK) I'm thinking you meant you were a high school D2 player and probably rode the pine.

For anyone who wants a logical reply from Vicky, forget it. He/She says some of the strangest things and has absolutey zero credibility when it comes to talking sports

I heard a comment tonight that the Ex-Defiance Girls High School Coach might be interested? Is there any possibility of this being true?

It is not Krack's daughter. It would be his niece. She is not a yeller, maybe even a little too calm on the sidelines.

Pretty sure Mr. Yant is the one if he accepts & the school board accepts. There was never an outside posting that I saw in papers or on line & I was told he was the only one that applied internally. I guess we will all see at the next boe meeting.

All is correct, except the BOE meeting is tomorrow night.

I am now wondering where and when the meet & greet with the new coach will take place?
