wow. Would love to have Ada in the BVC. I've always thought they would be a natural fit.

Which now raises the next question. With the NWC losing LCC and potentially Ada, where does the league go from here? Does this mean there is truth to the rumors that Waynesfield and Perry will join the NWC? Which then leads to the next question, where does the NWCC go with out Fairbanks, Perry, and WG?

Fairbanks is already gone from the NWCC...joining MOAC

Fort Loramie, Lehman and Troy Christian may only last in the NWCC 2 years.

Yes, my point exactly.

Well, if it does happen, I guess I have to come up with a new nickname for the BVC.......I kid, I kid.....Sorry Brunowball......I could not help myself.......( chill Dman...just havin some fun)

As I stated in the other thread about the BVC expansion talks, I personally like the NWC and see Ada as a good fit where they are. WIth that being said though, the BVC would also be a good fit for Ada....size wise, academic wise and logistical wise....just hate to lose the rivals already in the NWC.

Reading the Courier article, it states the 4 schools will talk about their facilities, academics etc. Thursday, but does anyone really know....does the BVC want all 4 or is this a process of elimination with the presentaions?

Why would the NWC want Perry back? They havn't improved one bit since they kicked them out.

If the NWCC can survive Fairbanks will come back eventually.

The BVC should kick out HN and the NWCC can pick them up

The NWC should pick up WG. They dont need another, have an even number for once.

Leaving the the NWCC with 8 football schools and the NWC with 8 also.

Instead of Waynesfield and Perry its entirely possible that the nwc could look west at Parkway. The biggest question would be would parkway be interested? Purely speculation of course, but seen it mentioned elsewhere and thought it was an very logical idea.

This is a very logical idea and one that makes a lot of sense to me. The only issue I could see getting in the way is if Parkway lets the prestige of being in the MAC get in the way of making a good decision for their athletic programs as a whole.

I'm kind of surprised to see Ada even looking at the BVC. I'd be kind of surprised if they left the NWC.

Losing LCC was their own fault....

By "their own" I hope you mean the NWC, not LCC.

Why would anyone be surprized? They get rid of nasty midweek trips to places like paulding, crestview. Ada to HL might be easier to get to then specerville. Skirt the north side of findlay on a 4 lane road with little traffic or go thru the heart of lima on 117? i know what i'd pick. If i were an ada taxpayer i'd be thrilled that the school was looking to curb transportation costs. If an ada parent i'd be glad to have to drive less to see my kid play and the kids get home a little earlier on a school night. As for losing ada after "losing" lcc... Aint karma a *#@&%

Nasty midweek trips? I already did the math with HN before. It's not saving a significant amount of distance cumulatively.

What karma are you referring to?...the last I checked Ada and Coach Fell weren't too thrilled with LCC either. :shrug2:

I think what bob22 was trying to say is the league kicks out LCC, and its karma that the league (NWC) could lose the other good team now too.

Representatives of Ada have made it clear... Ada is not planning on leaving the NWC. They were invited to the planned meeting by the BVC as was every other school in a 25 mile radius of Findlay. They will attend in order to see what they have to offer. As for LCC being the NWC's loss.... correction..... the NWC pretty much kicked them out! And I'm sure there won't be too many regrets. And I'm pretty sure all the area conferences aren't knocking down LCC's door to get them to join their conferences.

I think that of Ada took the time to put together a presentation for BVC officials, there is interest. Ada was an interviewee, not an interviewer.
