Gibsonburg didn't leave the league. They were never part of the NBC.

I would be shocked if LB changes leagues and goes up north or any where for that matter. There is only one sport that is affected by the league size and that is football. In everything else everybody is in. So when you consider all the sports that switching leagues would affect( Basketball, Track ,Baseball ,Softball, volley ball, soccer golf and who knows what I might have forgotten) along with jr hi sports do you think they are gonna add thousands and thousands of dollors to travel along with extra travel time just to help the football program make the playoffs? As a tax payer and even as a football fan I just could not support a move for that reason.

very good source. then LB will join the league up north. NW who will you bitch about then.

Haha, nobody. Im not the only one who likes to B*tch about L-B, maybe if they played schools their own size everybody wouldnt talk crap about them! Heck if Findlay Liberty-Benton leaves the conference I'll become president and move the Dallas Cowboys stadium between Findlay and Benton Ridge as a "GOODbye present"! Then all of us BVC schools will then hold hands and sing Kum Ba Ya! I want the expansion, but if LB leaves :punk: <Hell yeah) It sure would be sad to see a D5 school play D7 schools on a weekly basis! haha good luck gettin into playoffs-maybe they should keep the Elida game.

Does everyone in the BVC cry about LB like this?

Almost. I would say around 80%.

That's probably what I would say for L-B as a minimum.

Out of the schools in the conference, I would say 8/9 or 9/9 BVC schools dont like LB or want them in the conference.

Regardless of whether LB moves on or not - LB will keep a few of their friendly rivals on their schedule like Arlington, McComb and Leipsic on their schedule would be my guess.

I think that people on here are wrong about LB and wanting them out of the BVC - I know those on the know in Arlington do not want them out of the BVC despite what you read on here. However, if I am LB I would probably be looking in order to give them a shot in Hades of making playoffs in football cause it won't happen in the BVC if significant changes aren't made. Many comments about size of school are accurate and it surely is noticable in some sports like track where LB basically shows up and wins b/c of having enough kids to for 2 teams literally...when other schools can barely, if at all, even have enough kids to enter a kid/relay team into all events. Football is a bit of an issue - not so many kids playing both ways has a significant impact. Basketball and baseball - not so much.

On the "buying Elida out" comment - it happened - end of story.

When is the vote anyways??

I love people who just make up their own numbers and throw them into the wind. Just once I'd like to see these statements supported by facts.

Get off the size issue regarding the LB track program. It's Lb's fault they have coaches who combined have probably close to 60 years experience in the sport and several state champions? Also think both of them may be in the Track Coaches Hall of Fame!! They run very good programs.

If the BVC loses LB the credibility of the league crumbles!! Might as well change the "B" in BVC to "J" and have the Junior Varsity Conference!! I do think something needs to be done with the BVC and hope the power to be's do it right for everyones sake!!

I think 80%-90% of BVC people wanting LB out is a bit high. It's probably more like 60%-70% want them out. But like I mentioned before, I think 100% of the ADs want them to stay. LB is not a bad fit for the BVC if you take out the 2-3 small schools in the league. But in the long run it may be best for LB to leave and find a more balanced and competitive conference for them.

Instead of the one largest school leaving, how about the 2-3 small schools getting booted instead?

I agree, HN out, Vanlue out, if Arlington wants to keep crying, out!!!! Then add a couple larger schools, be better for anyone. Loose teams that bring 20 people to a football and basketball game. Thousands of dollars in travel, think of the thousands of dollars in gates that are lost across the board. Hardin Northern brought 30 people to a football game and followed it up with like 30 a basketball game. Every school looses how much each because of these schools!!!!

And how much did all those schools gain in gate when HN owned the league from 1994 til about 2006?

And what happens when the bottom falls out at C-R, P-G, or Arcadia? Kick them out too?

Posty Posty, LB has been very good in track for 25 years. Way before they got so "big". Same coaches have been there as long.
