Winning fixes all things!!! Big weekend coming up for Kalida. Time for them to right the ship or get off of the pot?

I've been to almost every game this year. What's your point?

There is plenty of time to "right the ship" if the coach is coherent (which some are alleging is not the case), and the kids have been working to improve their game for the past 6 years (which some are alleging is not the case), and have the ability to accept coaching (which some are alleging is not the case). Tough to know which direction this one goes...
On the assumption that Dick K is not senile, I will opine that if ANY coach is capable of righting ship, he would be the one. Of course it has also been alleged that Dick K. does not have authority over his own team and the administration/board have nixed many of the tools/techniques that have proven so valuable to the history of Kalida basketball. While I'm pretty certain dick Kortokrax knows high school basketball, I cannot say the same about the Kalida administration/board. I've seen the many allegations about how there are "too many" coaches on their bench. Sounds like they have coaches that extend way beyond the bench too...? You know what they always say... "It Takes a Village"...
If I were a betting man...I'd say avoid this one for now.

I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

I couldn't care less how many coaches he does or doesn't have.....just seems strange that most major D1 colleges only have 2-4 asst coaches....

I'm pretty sure that most major college coaches also have internet posters, board(s) of education, and administrators to tell them how to do their job too. When trying to build a cohesive unit with one specific goal, always best to include multiple captains with diverging philosophies into the mix. One person certainly cannot know it all. Specifically the winningest coach in Ohio. What could he know better about TEAM building than the board of education, internet posters, administration, etc...? Senile old coot needs to get with the times and let EVERYBODY steer the ship. It is just no fun.
In the name of "fun"...I propose that score no longer be kept for Kalida games, everybody gets to play at least 2 quarters, and face painting/bouncy houses for ALL participants and fans. At half time we should let the CYO teams play so they have an audience too. Every other Friday home game can be disco ball night. They could have a DJ...maybe play the game on roller skates if insurance allows...? Slow skate in periods 2 and 4...

They aren't gonna win that league now and I forgot about their tourney assignment. Only roadblocks to regionals look like Antwerp/Edgerton.
Hats off to the prognosticator of prognosticator's, see-er of see-ers.......
Once again Victorian, you nailed it.
