gotta still go with spencerville. Lcc is close second with best player but spencerville is deeper team overall. I would rate Bath next then Delphos Jefferson followed by wayne trace.

darkshadow14... glandorf isn't even in top ten in area. too small even though they're quick. probably 5th in county.

1- LCC hands down! They beat Chaminade-Julienne by 30. All wins are by double digits. Their top 6 could start on any jr high team in Allen County and every surrounding county. They have some names that might sound familiar (Simpson, O'Conner, Taflinger, Walton, Cobb, Dixon and Rhodes)
Other notable teams:
Celina- Undefeated with a pretty solid schedule
Wayne Trace- If the Linder kid is playing, he's a solid point guard.
Bath- Has 2 losses (LCC by 12 and @Celina) Top 5 are good but lose a lot when they sub.
Shawnee- Lost their first game to LCC last week by 30+ but still a really good team with O'Neil and a Thomas kid I think?
Crestview- Lautzenheizer is a nasty point guard. This kid is gonna be special!

St.Peter and Paul 8th grade from Ottawa has not lost a game at the junior high level...........The Ottawa and Glandorf public schools are decent also. Put all 3 together and OGHS will be strong for years to come.

Defiance 7th- 9-2
Defiance 8th- 8-3

And simply because there's been no thread about freshman teams and I'm bored: Defiance 9th- 11-4.

The 8th grade level in the NWC is as good as I've EVER seen. There are some GREAT players. Three of them are STUDS (bolded)...and the others could be. From a team standpoint LCC is the cream. Spencerville is right below that. Throw Crestview, Grove, Jefferson, and Ada in the mix.

LCC: Simpson, Cobb, Taflinger

Crestview: Lautzenheizer, Nefferd

Spencerville: Goecke, Nurse

Ada: Sauter

Jefferson: Smith

Paulding: Has a real good guard whose name slips me

Grove: Diller

Lincolnview: Leeth

Bluffton: Ault
I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

How's PH's JV's? Seems like you guys are on the comeback trail after a couple of down years.

I believe you would be thinking of Edwards....kid can ball for an 8th grader...True story here, as a 7th grader, he dropped 40+ on Antwerp

I can honestly say I have no idea what Archbold's jr. high record is, nor do I care. Their JV is 14-1, so I'm not looking that far back for hope. :P
