Anthony Wayne 3
Defiance 2
Heard coming into today AW's team batting average was .399. We will face better pitchers(Napoleon, Bryan) the rest of the season but I doubt we run into an offense that good for quite a while.

What a great game played by both teams. Was one of those that who ever ended up losing would be a heart breaker.
Great pitching by both, the game went 9 innings Blufftons pitcher went the whole 9 , Pauldings went 8 than put new pitcher in for the last inning. Again great game all.

Runners on 1st and 2nd with one out. ball hit to pitcher, went to turn two but runner slid hard into shortstop and throw to first was out of reach for the 1st baseman. Alex mott was on 2nd and came around to score the winning run bottom of the 9th.

Does anyone think that throwing kids 8 and 9 innings in early May is crazy. I have a hard time believing any coach would throw a kid 9 innings. Even in a 1-0 game he's still got to be well over 100 pitches. With the weather and the rainouts he can't have thrown very much up to this point. Any idea on pitch counts for the two pitchers?
Paulding doesn't suprise me....saw them throw a JV kid over 130 pitches in his first outing of the season at OG in early April on a 40 degree day. Any coach who did that should be banned from HS coaching.

I believe both pitchers were right at the 110 pitch count. (give or take a few)

What do you mean Voice?
I believe Voice hasn't learned his lesson yet, and that he enjoys hiding behind his screen name, while most people have got him figured out.
