wow.....that's abso-frickin'-lutely crazy!!

after all that's been posted/forecasted previously, it sure doesn't bode well in LE's favor~~no matter how optimistic you (i) may have been about the venture.

Tigger.. please enlighten me as to what purpose this will have for anything or anyone involved other than playing a little longer than what once thought possible.

Who else are they going after? I had heard the Politz.. I'm sure they are preoccupied with..a JOB. A real job that a real degree got them at Miami AFTER college..

Butler, once thought OSU's best Point guard ever is now a whisper with AC running the point. Showing what real defense is..

Picked up for drugs.. now the first signee BEFORE the president was announced, BEFORE the head coach was announced..He's no american hero to come back to Lima and play infront of 75 people nightly. Give me a break.

So If I'm missing something that this team will bring the community - or anything else important please enlighten me. Really, I will highly consider rethinking my opinion on this subject if good things are to come from this.

Not everyone is going to play bball after college. It's just simply not for everyone. I get it. Why have some old school, high school stand outs come out and tryy out for this team.. Whats it going to do for them? They're going to have to quit a job to travel around a couple of states and play basketball for what? $3000 a year?

It won't last 2 years.
You must have been the lardo that never played in high school, or better yet you were the undiscovered all star who didnt have the right last name.... God forbid anyone who wants to actually play basketball.

Quincy Simpson "steps down" as Lima Explosion head coach citing money that he was owed wasn't going to be given to him. He was owed money for this coming year and some money from last year and didn't get it - and Simpson knows he's not ever going to see it. Now is the time....

If they can't fulfill the basic - pay your employees, and Quincy states that he's leaving because he isn't getting paid..Good luck on filling that job. He said that kids were going to be quitting because Quincy isn't going to be the coach anymore.

Check Please.

is J But coming back to entertain this year?
15 pages is about 12 more than I ever thought possible, so in that regards the Explosion has been a success.....

I guess I can say that I and some others were questioning this foray from the start. I was quite surprised to see
them make it through the season, even though they didn't have the resources to make their way to the playoffs last year.
A valiant effort and for that i applaud their efforts.........Lima just isn't ready for this, I guess. Maybe they just haven't gotten
over the old Lima Mixers

according to the press release General Manager ( who knew the explosion had a GM?), Lewis Shine is set to take over as head coach. The Explosion are taking on the Harlem Ambassadors ( Globetrotters knockoff) next week.

I saw in the Lima News this past weekend that the D3 All Stars aka Lima Explosion knocked off some team from Motown
over the weekend at Reverend Herr Gymnasium located on the campus of THE Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds.....

Kyle Meyer from Columbus Grove dropped 44 on the Motowners to lead the charge.........

The article also mentioned that the Explosion roster is down to 7 players and the Oakland team showed up to the game 90 minutes late.

Admittedly, I could care less about this but somehow, someway I am on the mailing list. Game last weekend vs. Peoria was ppd. No reason given. No refunds but the tickets will be good for when the Ex-plosion does or if they play Peoria later this season.
