Now that all the teams have finished their seasons let's look to next years league race. Don't see a dominate team as Arlington was this year. See this possibly being lots of fun. Here is who I see as possibles,

Arcadia - Enough young girls coming up to replace what they lose.
Arlington - On top of returning letter winners, had very nice JV team.
L-B - Needs the sophs and freshmen to grow up to help Craft. Plus have a current 8th grader who is highly touted but was out with injury this year.
Mccomb - Watch out for Clymer girl. Played behind coaches daughter this year as a freshmen. She could be a force down low. Plus return sevreal I think.
Leipsic - Could be young but a team to watch.

What you think?

As for L-B they lose only one senior starter from this yrs team. As for the soph and freshmen growing up they did a good job this yr so I would think they would be better next yr.

LB has to be the favorite, and they have Arlington at home which is to their advantage.
Arcadia will be good for a couple more years with lots of young talent.
McComb might be very good next year - not sure if the overall talent is as good as Arcadia, LB and Arlington though. Clyvmer will be one of the elite in the BVC for the next years...
Leipsic returns one of their guards - but she will need help.
Arlington will be very good again, not to the degree this team was - but still very good with Amelia Recker, Alivia Recker, Jessica Hunter and Joy Reamsnyder all back. Some good JV talent but the team will need for everyone to get better just as Tina Brunswick and Mackenzie Heacock did from their Junior to Senior years. Hard to replace both of them, but Newlove will make this team very competitive again.

It will be between LB and Arlington next year to take the gold. LB has all the peices to put together a very good team next year along with a tall young lady currently in 8th grade that could step in and help out qute a bit, so that could even be more ammo for the Eagles.Arlington will return plenty of talent but not sure if they will be the team they were this year. As some will say you can't count out Arcadia & McComb. Arcadia will sport a solid team on the floor plus they have a great class of 8th graders to back them up and we can't forget about first class coaching to. I really like the glick girl on the skins eighth grade squad so they may be a team to watch......

The community flyer posted at the laundromat has the Lady Eagles looking outside the boundary
lines once again........this could be a very bountiful harvest for Coach Irwin and LB.....now I'm
sure that anyone coming in will have a most excellent excuse (at least better than the Ramsey
one last year).......I look for LB to have all the pieces for a nice BVC run next year.....

Grace, are there any garage sales in the Dold subdivision we should be checking out?

Yes there are...the bus drivers at least need to know where the school district ends. Maybe schools should opt out of open enrollment so they could put more emphasis on spelling and grammar. nerd.gif

...just havin' a little fun...
