No these two will not meet this year, unless they meet at an all-star match somewhere. Too bad, I imagine it would be a great match. Last year they only had one opponent in common, Corby Running of Clinton Massie. Erb beat him 6-4 SV, and Miller lost 11-3. Not that last year really means anything, just putting out there.

I know it was in a preview scrimmage, but at 152 Smith beat Tremoulis, LCC head to head 5-3

bigs - ratings were based upon placement at the Allen County Tournament and dual meet results.

no arguing with them, looked pretty much like Allen County results with a few extras thrown in, just information. I don't think those will go head-to-head in regular season. If Van Wert coach joins in I would think Masillo would be number 1 by a nose over Dues... IMHO

There should be several changes and more additions in the next 2 weeks as many of those coaches either will join of their own accord / will be contacted by the association to remind them of joining - so - expect to see the next ratings with those additions and changes.

Thanks for the updated rankings Coach Inglis.

Looking at these and considering the upcoming dual between Wapak and Elida tomorrow, it looks like it's gonna be a good one.
I ignore Spongefag and Turn&Blow. :)

Born To - there has never in the history of the LAWCA been one individual rated in two Wt. classes. Granted -he defeated Meeks. But until (and if) Meeks drops to 130 ,and they meet in the league and sectional tournaments - you will just hafta be satisfied with him being #1 at 130. By the way cudos to him for going up and wrestling Meeks - that's the way you get better - by wrestling the toughest competition - he has also put time in the off season to be a better wrestler (which Meeks hasn't).

I know that there was and never will be a wrestler ranked in two weight classes. Just trying to strike up conversation since that match took place and no one talked about it. And are we making excuses for Meeks? This is the match he wanted, talked about how he was going to, and I quote, "kick McDermit's !@#". Looks like he got more than he was bargaining for.

Born To - did you even read my reply?? Where in my reply did I make any excuses for Meeks - If you can read!! I gave cudos to McDermit for wrestling up a wt. class and props for working hard in the off season! Don't tell me I'm making excuses for Meeks! Not only that - if you knew there was no way of ranking McDermit in both wt. classes - why even mention it - just discuss the match like you wanted to. It will all come out in the end one way or the other! I didn't listen, but maybe Coach Inglis mentioned the match in his talk with Koza. BTW - you must be his father or you wouldn't be so upset.

Ok, well aside from the Meeks-McDermitt match which was shocking in this guys eyes...
14-7, and that score was closer than the match...
You could tell that he had put in the time as was FIRED up, running back to the line each time,
PUSH PUSH PUSH, the kid has skills!!! Very fun match to watch!!!

At 160,
JR dropped to 145 didn't he?
Ian lost to Alec
Alec was pinned by Mack

Just food for thought

JR has yet to make scratch. I agree that he would be a beast at 145 but he has to get their first.

For the other stuff... thanks for the info. It will certainly be useful next sunday.

Also, as a side not...

I have recieved word from St. Marys, coldwater and Celina... they will be added to the lists next week.

Ok, however I am not his father. Not upset either. Just don't like wrestlers that talk trash while sitting in and amongst the fans of opposing teams. If you are who I think you are, you taught your wrestlers to behave better and to have more respect for others when you were coaching. That said, I do appreciate your passion for wrestling as well as the input you add to all the discussion boards.
It will be interesting to see what happens at WBL's and sectionals. Will McDermit go 25 or stay at 30. If he is at 30 does Meeks drop to avenge his loss? How would that effect Districts and possible state births?

Born, don't worry about McGeek. He's a cry baby just like Meeks! It sounded like an excuse to me too, and I'm with you on the trash talk. He got what he deserved if that's what he said before the match.
