The Bath / Vanwert and the Celina / Van Wert match should be very tight...but the question of the night is how many points will Wapak beat Bath by?

Very easily could get ugly early in that match... Wapak is looking for redemption!

Bass, Bass, Bass. Just remember, it's not where you are on December 16th that matters. We aren't conceding anything, but we lost a dual last year and the year before, things worked out OK. We'll just keep choppin'

Last year Wapak beat Bath in the Dual, but was edged out in the tournament. But let's be honest, that was a league effort to beat Wapak. Bath didn't do it on their own. jawdrop.gif

Bass and 34215 - Didn't anyone ever tell you to never underestimate your opponet. Not only that 34215 - apparently Wapak didn't get as many place points at either the league / sectionals or else they would have won both - so I guess a pin here / tech fall there by Wapak just didn't happen - wouldas, couldas, and shouldas don't buy you much.

Watching the wrestlers and the crowd you could tell the teams/communities dont really like each other much hahaha
It was fun, wish it would of been close between Wapak and Bath, but there was some seriously good matches and fun times... I also have to give a warm praise to Arron Smith, first week of wrestling I think and held his own going against some big ole boys...

I agree.......with everything. There's no love lost between Bath and Wapak.

I was actually impressed with Smith. You could tell he's new to the sport, but he definetely could be a force with some more experience. I thought he did a good job considering. He could make an impact by the end of the season in the league tournament. If I remember right he's a junior, so this experience will only help him on the football field next year too! Watch out.

34215 - Only children and unintelligent individuals call someone names - I assume you are not the 1st - so you must be the latter. Yes Wapak did win but against 3 freshmen and 3 - 1st year wrestlers - 2 of which have been wrestling only 2 weeks. And, it seems to me that you are the one alibing your league and sectional losses. If you wanted to really justify your comment at least you would have been smart enough to say that Wapak did place higher at Districts and State, but I guess that would have been beyond you. Good Luck the rest of the season. Have a Great Christmas.

Anyway, gotta love wrestling...

Bath have a young team, some of the young guys are really stepping up for the team!!!

They have a solid group in the JR HI level as well, I see bath in 2-3 years being amazing!!!

Greendog - Don't know the score / individual results -but, do know it came down to the last match with Van Wert needing a pin to win - didn't get it -I know Celina won maybe by only one pt. - could be wrong about the 1 pt. diff.
