Thought I would open up the conversation...
Which team / teams are destined to be at the top of the WBL?

Which wrestler/ wrestlers will be unstoppable in the WBL?

Wapak seems to be bringing the most back making them in my opinion an early favorite.

What does Bath have since last year's powerful senior class is gone?

Top wrestlers? Please add!
Erb
Beemer
McDermitt
Meeks
Seifker
???

Wapak has a ton coming back, but you can add Martin and Fleck to those names of top wrestlers.
I ignore Spongefag and Turn&Blow. :)

only wrestler I know at ALL! is Mackenzie Surber from Kenton (not sure of anyone else )

only thing is, he does TAP-OUT type matches in backyards, so should be interesting to see whether he can adjust.

don't get me wrong, not saying he'll dominate... just letting you know the only wrestler I know lol.

I think you are referring to the Plaugher twins, the Dilts twins are swimmers at Shawnee.

Sorry about the Plaughers boys mess-up. Been sick and asked a cross country kid what their names were, itwould not come to me. Blame it on Nighttime flu meds, but they did look to be much improved in the spring.

I have heard much of the same. I hear they have a brother who is wrestling this year as well. Nice to see a family of wrestlers. Not sure that they will carry the legacy of shawnee family names like the crofts have, but wish them all the luck.

you have your usual names to watch like Beemer....Erb...Meeks....Massillo....McDermitt
There are probably 2 maybe 3 weight classes that won't be challenged. It will be a good year in the WBL.
The Plaugher Twins will for sure surprise some this year as they both surprised themselves dureing spring beating State qualifiers and placers. Born to Wresrtle- The twins ..especially one of them will make some noise that just might come back to challenge your comments..lol.
Mathias Klausing and Seifker if stay healthy will both battle anyone ona given day. I do agree with watching hanneman.
Pauff..Green..Dunlap will lead the Elida boys and along the way there will be 2 more names people will notice probably after the Allen county Tourny.
Gabe King is one to keep an eye on. It will depend on what weight he comes into.
Alot of good names have been thrown out here on this thread.

Dare we go any deeper... It is wonderful to see so many names mentioned within the great WBL. The Allen County meet as well as WBLs should be exciting.

Looks like Wapak will have a very good squad!
Bath should be very competitive!
The rest of the WBL looks as if it will be a wait and see type of thing with very good wrestlers intermingled with potential wrestlers!

The big question this year will be where last year's district qualifiers will fall (weight class wise)?

Are there any stud Freshmen?

Is this including the alternate spot? Since you said "district placers". They all didn't qualify for state...

I ignore Spongefag and Turn&Blow. :)

As we look into the Crystal Ball, those District Qualifiers look to be set and ready to reach the next plateau "STATE".

I ask again unsure.gif I am not real in tune with how the area JH was last season... Any freshman standouts?
