You say we're not impressive but look at the stats from 2 years ago..to be able to go from that bad of a record to a season of breaking almost every record in our school IS impressive..ya we may not be state contendenders but I promise you throughout the next 5 years you will see straight improvements. We may never be St. Iglausa(Spelling) but for a school that has one coach with no trainers or anything like that where we get no money and everything we do is straight determination we do pretty good.

Going from being a little sister of the poor to beating the little sisters of the poor isn't impressive. Equally unimpressive are breaking almost every school record against said sisters.

I would take contending for a district crown as impressive, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Bath 2 (Home)
Temple 1 (Away)

PK Analysis:
* Bath got a PK in the 2nd half, well deserved, and scored
* A field player for Bath blocked a Temple shot with his hand but the referee didn't want to give a deserved PK

Ball Boy Analysis:
* Bath scored 1st in the middle of the first half -- then all the ball boys disappeared.
* Temple tied the game with seconds to go in the 1st half -- ball boys re-appeared.
* Bath scored in the middle of the 2nd half (via PK) -- the ball boys disappeared again.
* Bath took advantage of this and sent the ball into the wheat field, bleachers and over fences.
NOTE: One of the Bath athletic staff noticed this "irregularity" and the Bath coach apologized as the clock wound-down.
* So, what is the official rule about the home team and ball boys? Only to be used when the home team is tied or losing?

All in all, Bath played the better game today. But cheap tricks to lock in a win aren't good.

Defiance - nil
Kalida - 2

The woes continue for the Defiance defenders as they give 2 gifts to Kalida.

Indian Lake did this one year. They had ball boys at the end lines who quickly fed them the ball to instantly start the game up and set their offense up. Of course they didnt do that for us. That ended really fast.

After a point no one can break records against good teams.

Your school keeps records on losing streaks?

Breaking records against good teams requires actually PLAYING good teams. How about you ask your coach to place your team in the tourney bracket with Shawnee.

Rest easy! They play Defiance tonight. That should be good for at least 2 goals for the game!

Celina 2 Elida 2 Not an unexpected result. Both teams are pretty even.
Van Wert 1 St. Marys 0 Ouch. Pretty much kills Memorials chances for a dark horse WBL title.
Wapakoneta 1 Shawnee 1 Only the second goal of the year conceded by Shawnee. No WBL drama b/c of Memorial loss.
Bath 2 Ottawa-Glandorf 1 Impressive season for Bath. OG flirting with a sub 500 season with Kalida and Celina still to play.

Is this surprising for OG? I havent heard much of them this year. Newer players? Youth?

Surprising in that they are usually better, even in an 'off' year. Their defense is uncharacteristically porous, already conceding 19 goals, only 3 clean sheets in 13 games.

dkusma96: it would be illegal to put the top 2 seeds in the same district to play in the same bracket. Seeds haven't been finalized yet but if were second with 1 loss and a tie and St. Mary's is third with 3 or 4 losses, it looks like we'll be second. So we can play Shawnee in district semi's. And as long as we both get there, it'll be a game. I remember 2 years ago when Upper was last, and Shawnee waz first and Upper almost won the game (3-2 i believe) (no offense to Shawnee).
Don't be so certain then, uh?

And why the hell do you hate Upper so much anyhow? You start talking ******* after my very first post,(which was only a score)

You're already assuming that you'll get a seed because you have 1 loss and 1 draw? Your coach will get up at the tourney draw with all those WBL schools and puff out his chest and say "we're 11-1-1 and our quality wins are.....ummm....hold on a sec it'll come to me....oh got it, we only lost to Van Buren by 4!"

Wapakoneta 6-4-2 Opp record: 61-49-19
Elida 6-3-3 Opp record: 54-42-18
Memorial 9-4-1 Opp record: 74-59-25
Shawnee 10-0-2 Opp record: 54-45-25
Kenton 1-13-0 Opp Record: 69-64-22
Upper Sandusky 11-1-1 Opp record: 32-87-15
Celina 8-4-0 Opp record: 61-60-17

Sorry, but by the looks of it Upper is the second worst team in that sectional not the second best.

Here's what OSSCA has for Upper tourney results:

2009 L 1-3 Celina
2008 L 0-2 Shawnee
2007 L 2-5 Kenton
2006 L 0-9 Shawnee
2005 L 0-4 Shawnee
2004 L 0-14 Wapak
2003 L 0-2 Elida

I don't see any "almost wins" in there. How about you concentrate on actually WINNING a game for the first time in 8+ years?

Please show me where I said I hated Upper? I seem to think your panties went into a knot when I said that after watching the team play I was not impressed and a couple other folks said much the same thing. Then, I colorfully illustrated how weak your schedule was and the only reasonably strong team you played was Van Buren, and they destroyed you. No, not hate at all. It's just a healthy dose of reality.

Certain? Of course not, but I'm not certain I won't be struck by lightning either.

I highly encourage you to prove me wrong.

Good luck.

Just curious. What team did you play for or are associated with?
