Lady Jays face state-ranked St. Mary's Memorial Saturday at 1 at Elida Middle School. St. Mary's won in the regular season 4-0 (though 2 goals were scored in the last 2 minutes).

Channel 44 said the game starts at noon on Saturday. Can we get a verification on the time as the prior post says 1pm.

All the odds are against you. Go out there and win that district championsip. But more importantly, beat St. Mary's for the first time in school history!!!

Guess I have to learn about soccer a little bit. All I know is you kick the ball in the goal to score. I'm guessing there's a little more to it.

You went into the game with high hopes and dreams but it was not to be. Your effort to win was great but it was the true spirit of team that has set the standard for the future of our soccer program. The concern and trip to the hospital to be there for a fallen teammate is what will make the end of this season so special for your legacy. Thank you for showing us all that there is more to life than winning a game.
Seniors, you have set a high bar for the future and we thank you for that. You led by example and accepted the younger players with grace and class. My best wishes to you in your future endeavors. You will be missed.
Juniors, you are our new leaders. Carry this momentum forward and be leaders in this off season.
Sophmores and Freshman, work on your skills and stamina as there are many holes to be filled. Get others excited about your sport and encourage them to be a part of this great team you have been on this season.
The scrapbooks will be filled with memories and stories from this fine season. Thank You Ladies! OLE!

She was on the bench near the end of the game and had some sort of seizure. She is now home and hopefully the doctors can figure out what is affecting her. A very scary time for her and her family.
