Check this out, im the ada kid that threw the punch. The kid raised his hand like he was going to hit me. So since I thought he was gonna hit me, I acted in self defense. Know your facts before you publish things sir
Listen, Sonny! The fact is clear... a punch thrown is NEVER in self defense regardless of what your Dad tells you. Self-defense would have been to turn and walk/run away so that he could not hit YOU. THAT is self-defense. Your act of throwing a punch was clearly an OFFENSIVE move and would never be condoned regardless of circumstances by the OHSAA, the local police department or your school.
So, before you go throwing another punch simply because a kid raises a hand at you (which is also wrong), YOU my young friend, need to know YOUR facts. The throwing of a punch in ANY game or life situation can be considered a criminal act whereby you would be subject to arrest. How cool would it be to get escorted off the field in hand cuffs?
Playing the game with heart and conviction will yield you respect and satisfaction. Playing with anger and out of control emotion will yield nothing more than momentary gratification and lead to life-long regret.
Good luck the rest of your
year life!
