Boys DII

Records not provided

Boys DIII
1) Ottawa Hills (4-1-0)

3) Liberty Benton (4-1-1)
3) Kalida (3-0-3)
4) Ottawa Glandorf (3-1-2)
4) Lima Temple Christian (4-1-0)

____________________________

Div I - looks about right.

Div II - Elida still ranked? Drubbed by Kalida, beaten by Van Wert, destroyed by Shawnee.

Div III - Teams look correct, much better than the first poll. One can argue where those teams stack up.

I'm not sure about OG's record. The Courier says 6-1-2, but I'm seeing 5-1-3 & that matches up with highschoolsoccerohio...even though it says they lost to LB last night instead of the draw. Confused? Me too.

Also missing a draw for LB according to the Courier. Any help? I need to have accurate records FAST!

This is just a list of the teams in the area that are in contention. This in no way is a ranking. It's a method for me to keep track of records (I'm the polling rep for DIII NWO). I need to have Swanton up there at 7-2, which I believe is where you're getting at & deservedly so.

OSSCA has Swanton at 7-3 and have conceded 18 goals.

I'm pretty sure The Courier had LB and OG's records flipped. LB is 6-1-2 and O-G is 5-1-3.

Toffeeman:

Let me preach to the choir for a moment: ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS COULD BE FIXED IF COACHES WOULD UPDATE THE OSSCA.ORG WEBSITE, THEY DON'T LOAD THEIR SCHEDULES & THEY DON'T UPDATE GAME RESULTS. SO, LET'S "OUT" SOME OF THE PRIME OFFENDERS:

BLUFFTON -- COACH DAVE FETT
CONTINENTAL -- COACH STEVE DEKEN
FORT JENNINGS -- New Coach Bill Romes -- 1st year, cut him some slack
LIBERTY BENTON -- COACH DREW AUKERMAN
MILLER CITY -- COACH TOM KLEAR
PANDORA-GILBOA -- Newer Coach Jill Hovest
PETTISVILLE -- COACH DICK NYCE

BATH -- New Coach Jeremy Winegardner -- 1st year, let's get him trained
CELINA -- RYAN JENKINS
DEFIANCE -- COACH CARLOS LOPEZ
ELIDA -- COACH TOM THOMAS
KENTON -- COACH JAMIE BARTLETT
SHAWNEE -- COACH DICK HAGEN
VAN WERT -- COACH DEREK STEMEN
WAPAKONETA -- COACH MARK DYMESS

(virtually the entire WBL !!!)

Yeah because coaches have nothing else going on that they can just sit down on the computer and get on that website to update their info whenever they have new...remember most coaches do have other jobs on top of coaching..so maybe a little assistance from the schools would be beneficial?....
As someone once told me. "If you say you can't than you won't. If you say you can than you will." Never give up and keep working hard to get where you need to go, and Play Like a Champion Today!

Part of the job requirement IS to give out information as needed. We are supposed to put scores in all newspapers, morning announcements at school, and whereever else is needed. Getting your team and kids' names out there is something that was always pushed where I coach. Kids deserve recognition, and it REALLLLY does not take much extra time at all.

If a head coach cannot do it, then put an assistant on it.

I understand the frustration as I read the newspapers and I dont see the scores in there. All it takes is a call or a fax. If coaches dont want to have the scores printed due to getting beat, thats a dumb reason.

DISSENT: I can't believe that I am actually agreeing with you. sad.gif However, thank you for the list, maybe readers could call their coach and ask him/her to participate.

formercoach: WELL PUT !!! Yes, an assistant or a "responsible" parent can take 2 minutes to update ossca.org after a game. In fact, ossca.org will upload your schedule for you, just e-mail it to them.

SportsGranny: It looks like St. Marys has their schedule loaded and is regularly posting scores: http://www.ossca.org/schedules.asp

Old Man P: In your quote, the word "than" was used twice. It should be "then". Just having fun, no offense intended smile.gif

Nope. Circle 8 Oct on your schedule. Should be worth the price of admission.
