I only listed New Knoxville because I actually saw them. So, I listed them 5th of the 5 teams I had seen.
Where did you used to coach?

Kalida didn't beat Elida, they destroyed Elida. Would love to go see the Temple game on Thursday.
What "geniuses" vote in the NWOSSCA poll?
Boys DIII
1) Ottawa Hills 2-1-0 (I can understand this, a close loss vs a quality D1 team)
2) Ottoville 4-0-0 (Not much quality competition, but 4-0 is 4-0)
3) Liberty Benton 3-1-1 (Seriously?????)
4) Lima Temple Christian 3-0-0 (No complaints here)
5) Van Buren 1-2-1 (WTF....)

It's the same with the ossca site. SO MANY COACHES don't even take the time to get a log-in & enter their results or palyer stats. Making finding results hard & also not getting their players even a small slice of recognition. The site & its stats system is pretty cool & so easy. Man, I'm busy as anyone, but it literally takes me 5 MINUTES tops, to do my stats on ossca.org.
So, as NWO Polling rep, I apologize for everything but I can only work with what I get.

Toffee, thats the way it is. Remember the story of the little red hen? No one wanted to help make the cookies, but in the end everyone wanted to eat them?
When I was the voter, I did what I could. Hated putting my own team up, but you never get input when you want it and some coaches never posted scores. I went with what I knew.

Boys DIII
1) Ottawa Hills 2-1-0 (good program that i am not surprised they r where they r)
2) Ottoville 5-0 (Good offense, can score at any given time, very deep in their bench, quality wins against some quality teams like beating Bryan on the road 4-1, they beat Van Buren on the road 2-1, they beat Riverdale at home 6-0, the other two wins against Van Wert and Lima Senior ya maybe not quality opponents like the others, but the important thing is they are beating the teams they should beat, defensively not too bad, but like Temple they havnt been tested defensively against a good offensive team)
3) Liberty Benton 3-1-1 (good passing team, don't know too much about them since i havent seen them yet)
4) Lima Temple Christian 4-0-0 (Good offense, quick and fundamentally sound, defense might be an issue, i dont believe they have been tested against a good offensive team Id say Temple has played 1 maybe 2 quality opponent so far and that was Wapak, maybe LCC? the other wins were against Van Wert and St Marys so they basically have played about the same competition as Ottoville so far but TC does have kalida this thursday and should be a good one, i will make an appearance at that game)
5) Van Buren 1-2-1 (tied Kalida, and beat Riverdale i believe? other than that, they are not a bad team, have some sharp shooters and solid defenders.)
Kalida is kind of up there, im concerned about their scoring, altho they did show some against Elida..but with ties against Van Buren and Fort Jennings, im not so sure but what i am sure is Kalida will get things going again dont know exactly what happened the FJ game, but always a good defensive team just the offense is what concerns me but despite that, they have played some good WBL schools so far and have Temple on thursday
Continental is playing well also beating Miller City the other day and has Ottoville on monday

Toffee, I feel your pain and I didn't lump you in the 'geniuses'.
Here are the 5 teams in NWO that should be in that ranking. One can argue positioning on the list, but as long as the list includes these 5 sides it would be just.
DIII
1) Ottawa Hills 3-1-0
2) Lima Temple Christian 4-0-0
3) Kalida 3-0-3
4) Ottawa-Glandorf 3-1-1
5) Ottoville 5-0-0

OG down based on who they played???
Loss to Shawnee who will be in the D2 top ten soon, tie with Napoleon who could beat anyone on that list.
I'll agree Temple's schedule and Ottovilles are lacking in substance while Kalida and OH are very respectable.
