They had a very successful season, but I don't think that's what you were going for. How do you think the season went?

After watching their coach's, early season, irrate performance at Ottawa. Throwing the F-bomb in front of fans, kids and players prior to getting kicked out... I have no use for him or the Lima Legion's accomplishments. He was an embarrasment to Legion Baseball
I don't expect him coaching anywhere next season!!!

I don't care how well they (Lima Legion) do year in and year out and there's no excuse for dropping the F bomb at anytime. I guess it just matters what wine colored glasses you ar looking thru.

During a double header at Liberty Benton, there were several calls that Koch argued. He went back and forth with the LB coaches and when the second game was over (Bluffton was run ruled in both) Rick went to the bus before cleaning up or shaking the other teams hand.
During a game against Ottiville, the Pirates lost a close one in which a few errors caused the loss. I'll give Koch some props, he didn't take it out on the players. However, he elected to pick up the bases after the game and then proceeded to "toss" them against the fence beside the Pirate dug out. He also kicked his glove from the dug out all the way to his car. I was talking to a parent after the game and his comment was something along the lines of "I've heard of 5 year olds pouting, but that's a sad display of immaturaty from a grown man."
Those are just two of the most heated incidents from a season full of them.

I have nothing against the Lima Legion. I went to watch them against OG because I truely like baseball. Didn't care who won or loss and had no other reason to be there.
Just wanted to see the talent in the area. The kids from Lima represented themselves well.
Apparently this coach thought it was the 7th game of the World series, with everyone there to see him. I won't be back to a Lima Legion game until he's replaced. There is no place for the F_bomb at any sporting event. Let alone a local game between 18 and 19 year old kids, with their parents, grand parents and brothers and sisters present.
Sometimes having Class is more important than winning or losing. The Lima legion has no business supporting this coach. There has to be someone better??

There are many candidates better than this joke of a coach. His assistant Dick Rieman would be great, or Dave Koverman coming back would bring smiles to a lot of people in my opinion. Health issues there are the reason he didn't return this past season.
