You might have to wait until the season is underway, but as everyone watches different freshman play, write their names on here, I want to see some of the names in this area.

Reading the other thread, it looks like Wenzinger? might be pretty good.

Carrie Griggs of miller city. shes a very good hitter and catcher. she won a game for mc in the bottom of the 7th with a walk-off home run.

Holgate now has three freshman starting. two started from the beginning and the third is now playing also. They are able to play multiple positions and all three can pitch. Two have varsity innings pitching. They also have four sophomores starting also. this make for a very young team.

PH also has two freshman that sometimes start. To even be on the varsity bench is amazing at PH

Just recently I checked the Lima News and a freshman from Ottoville named Andrew Koch is currently in first place in the Lima area all divisions in batting average at .577 even though he only has had 30 some at-bats, that is still very impressive to me....am i right?

the catcher from the ada pony team last year will be a freshman this comming year, i have seen him play a few times, i dont remember the kids name though, but im pretty sure his number was 16, he was a above average catcher, and led the team in hitting this past year

striked out once. good grammer. andrew koch is a very all round great player. he can hit as most people have seen. he is fast and his play on the field impecable. give him a few years and i smell college material.
go get um andrew.

well i am not sure on how many starters adas varstiy has back this year but i know there is quite a few, as i said in my previous post i think 16 was the catcher for the pony league, and yes dysert is a catcher, i have seen that 16 play a few positions and he was a decent fielder from 3rd base as well i believe he could play that to, but honestly in ada the person who has the best shot at a spot on varsity as a freshman is simmons

MC's got some talent that were frosh last year and some that will be coming up this year. wenzinger is a very solid pitcher and fielder for the cats, and schroeder has a nice bat.... wenzinger played varsity the whole year, and i believe the schroeder kid came up and started hitting the ball well for ACME. as for the upcoming frosh, they do spend alot of time on baseball in the offseason.
