Give it time. Give it time.

He's nice. He's not NBA

yep, you're right....you've always known more than an NBA scout......lol

Heck, based on some of your past posts, I'm not sure you're qualified to judge the talent level of girls on a 7th grade girls junior high team.... smile.gif

Hey Vic, better known as college scout and now NBA scout. Ever think just maybe Aaron makes the players around him better as well.

Certainly have not.
He is playing very well, much better than I thought he would play, but the key to stopping OSU is containing Sullinger.
Every team that plays OSU is first and foremost concerned with keeping Sully in check. Then they are worried about WB & D-Light.

Craft will have a nice career overseas for somebody and that is nothing to be ashamed of.

worked out pretty well for Mr. Granger also..........that would be something if both AJ and Aaron
would both win a national title and both being from LB.......

and oh btw, if Mr. Craft does play overseas or in the NBA you can bet that he won't be broke 3
years after his career is over like some..........

Dont' see him playing oversee's would be surprised but I highly doubt it.

And Mr. craft may not be making OSU players better because they have more experience, but he is the facilitator, and without good point guard play, I don't think OSU would be undefeated. Plus his defensive ablilities. He makes OSU better.

Good grief you have no clue. The minute Craft steps on the court Ohio State immediately becomes a better team. If you can't see that you're goofier than we already thought you were. Without Craft on the court Sullinger isn't nearly the threat that he is with Craft on the floor. Craft does a much, much better job of spreading the ball around than anyone else....meaning that there is a lot less chance of the defense being able to double team Sully. If you don't believe me, take a pencil and paper and sit it next to you on Saturday. Write down the score each time Craft enters and leaves the game. Also, write down the assists that OSU gets when Craft is on and off the court. I think you'll realize real quick that Craft does make everybody on the team better, just by being on the court.

He is averaging 4.6 assists per game and 2.4 turnovers per game.
Leading the team in fouls & turnovers per game.

I have never said he sucks or anything of the sort. He is playing very well as a freshman.
That said, he is the only true point on the team and it should run better when he is on the floor. He's really the only guy whose nature it is to run pg. Lighty, WB, Thomas and Diebler are not point guards.
It comes down to Sullinger. That is who opponents are gameplanning for , not Aaron Craft and his bringing the ball up the floor and setting the offense.

More Craft stats

He`s averaging 6.8 points per game. (Sixth on the team)

He shooting 49% on his field goals.

43% from 3-point land (3rd on the team behind Diebler & Lighty)

72% from the free throw line.

He`s the Buckeye team leader in not only assists but also steals.

He as a freshman has logged an average of 28 minutes a game. The fifth most minutes for the number 1 team in the nation.

All in all, I have to believe that Aaron Craft is having himself a better season than any of us could have expected....... And I`m pretty sure that even Thad Matta would agree that he has exceeded all expectations. His numbers are solid across the board and when he`s on the floor the Bucks are obviously a better team.

This comment seems to fall in the category of "Profound grasp of the obvious". Yes, I think everyone can agree that Sullinger is the focal point of the offense. Nobody has ever said Craft is, but that does not make him any less a great player. Why not just admit you were wrong about him and leave it at that? Do you have to find subtle ways to degrade every time you post?

Craft is the greatest college point guard I have ever or will ever see in my lifetime.
I can't wait for him to get to the NBA and show Derron Williams how to run the point and play defense.
Escuse me while I go to the restroom with my newly acquired fathead of Aaron Craft......

Now you`re talkin Sonnyboy.

Actually Craft is the second greatest college point guard I ever saw. Ernie DiGregoria holds the number one spot in my book. Although Craft is a whole lot better defensively that Ernie No D was. By the way, Ernie played second banana on his team too. Defenses thought some big dude named Marvin 'Bad News' Barnes was the guy to contain.

Its funny how the discussion way back started about how he should be MAC level at best and now is whether or not he will be in NBA! Good job Aaron. pokey.gif
SO, most have now had their crow and we are to newest debate.

I for one think Aaron will have a solid 4 year career at OSU and end up playing in one of the better European leagues and making lots of non tax income while resting in his team paid for house/apt. and driving the car they provide. hifive2.gif

If so, we should all be very happy for his success because none of us came even close to this.

Not sure if he would play overseas. What's funny is how the other Big Ten team fans are beginning to dislike him because of the in your face D he plays the entire game. See the Purdue fans screaming when he touched someone? Hilarious.

Seeing How we all know he will be playing college ball for 4 years. Any Pro ball seems like a long 4 years of debating tongue.gif

I do have a question though. Okay, hyperthetically, I dont see him going over seas, but what is this D league NBA ball tHat I saw on TV this weekend?

And forget NBA, Can OSU rebound and put together and not lose the rest another game the rest of regular season?
And will they still get a number 1 seed if they win the Big ten Tournament?

They will win out and win the regular Big Ten and even if they do not win the BT tournament I believe they get a 1 seed. But if they don't win the regular season they then would have to win the BT tournament for a 1 seed IMO.
