I'm not gonna get in a pissing match with you but most of what you say is complete and utter nonsense. I think Buford will jump to the NBA (I think he should) but suggesting Lighty will play point is idiotic. He has no ball handling skills AT ALL. If Buford does stay, we will spend some time at #1 next season. As for Smith, yes he has played some point guard, but very little. And at 215 lbs, he would probably be the biggest PG in the history of college basketball (some sarcasm). Lauderdale will not start. Matta despises him, and I know Sullinger was told he will start as a Freshman.

Word out of C-Bus is:

starting lineup:
1.Dlight
2.Will Buford
3.Jon Diebler
4.Deshaun thomas
5.Jared Sullinger

Its early but there seems to be a name missing...AC maybe!I will be watching this closely but I*m pretty sure Craft will go thru an adjustment period just like I said last spring. This is normal and I believe AC will be instrumental near the end of the season and for 3 years more!AAU is not the big ten.AAU is basically an offensive my turn-your turn show.Big Ten basketball is chesting up players at the 3 pt. line and jumping to the ball EVERY time!!!That is defensive terminology for the uninformed.Do any of you have an idea how hard those 2 simple tasks are? Everytime you are on the court? That is just some of the things a D1 point guard has to learn. There is no breather, there is no play off, everytime people!!!I don*t care what your GPA is most freshman NEED an ADJUSTMENT period. OH yeah,LETS GO UCLA!!!!!

Let me ask you somethin:
All over the OSU boards this spring they were talkin about how LCC doubled Craft in tourn.
I saw them help on drives, but they weren't "double teaming" him.

NEVER double-teamed him in that district game!!!OSU boards are full of waste material.Any good team helps out and of course they were probably "leaning" his way but he could NOT get around Desi!!! He was able to use his strength several times but Desi had him under control! The Turson kid from Plymouth was double-teamed by LCC.The only thing that saved the birds that game was Turson just got worn down.LCC had NO answer for turson.Craft is nice but watch the tape and it is obvious that he was nowhere near quick enough to shake DESI!!

OH no!!I DEFINITELY agree Craft is REAL nice. You do not get a scholly to OSU unless you are NICE!!!My point is he will need some time to adjust to college hoop!He isn*t that nice where his game just automatically translates to BIG TEN success!!!I like Crafts game and think he will help OSU out big time once he does get acclimated!!By the end of the season I would not be surprised if he gets the LIONS share of the PG minutes.

And the question was did LCC double-team him in the district game!!He was NOT doubled but of course LCC had a lot of EYES on him!!LOL Dude,I like Crafts game but he isn*t John Wall where he can just walk in and ball out in the BIG Ten!!He will help OSU in the long run I believe!!

Division 1 / Division 3 That is what the experts decided and that is good enough for me.

Cooke?I listen to experts too but I have eyes and reasoning abilities which I try to use also!!

If he does, OSU is in major trouble.
They are forced to start Lighty at point this year and then hope Lenzelle Smith can play point and then groom the pg they have coming in next year.

Craft will do just fine at OSU.

Some of you may have a short memory but I do not. The poster Victorian is the same guy that said Jon Diebler wouldn't log much playing time at Ohio State. Now, that prediction didn't pan out all that well for him either did it?

And he is from 25 miles west of LB which explains a lot why always down on AC.

John Walls is in the top 1% of players, so I will agree Craft isn't in the top 1% of the talent in College, But to say he can't contribute already when not one of you has seen him play at the college level, and not one of you has probably seen him since the LCC game period. Craft is now the strongest point guard as a freshman (compared to previous freshman) ohio state has ever had. He is one of the strongest guards they have on the team now. So I don't think any of you has seen what he has done over the spring and summer in developing his upper body, and he has grown a little more too. There is alot of games that Ohio State will play teams, that I imagine Matta will try to get Craft so time. He still is one of the Best on the ball guards they have seen, and this is the coach's talking. Not sure why we need to keep harping on offense when Ohio State has scorers, that don't have some one to bring the ball up the court. You don't need to have 5 scorers on the floor at all times. Not very many teams field 5 kids they want to score 20 points from.

And wouldn't you think if I felt highly of the kid I would make a point of going to watch him a lot?
I saw my share of his games, believe me.
Since he is close, I hope he does well. Just don't think he will.
