Tomorrow night there will be a Tri Match between Allen East - LCC and Delphos St. John's at Delphos I believe. Does anyone have any thoughts on this match up. I believe this year the Mustangs and Blue Jays are the 2 best area teams and with a talented up and coming team like LCC it should be very interesting. My opinion Allen East sweeps both teams with a tight win against St. John's also St. John's should beat LCC.

Ok I agree Taz and didn't mean anyting by that, I mainly watch D3 wrestling so I guess I should have said 2 of the best D3 teams in the area. Wapak and Bath are by far the 2 best overall teams around just give me a little break for not mentioning them. I am excited to watch this match that's all. Besides Taz's correction does anyone have any thoughts?

Yes you are correct that it's in Delphos and we are hoping for a good turn out crowd wise. And Brian Merschman is healthy just the regular bumps and bruises of a wrestling season. Good Luck to all 3 teams and keep pushing to get the Lima Area recognized in the Division 3 scene. Oh ya you'll never get anything like that past Taz! LOL thanks Taz for all you do to promote the whole Lima Area!

I am looking forward to Lovejoy vs Hahn at 171 and also Lovejoy vs Grubenhoff at 215. Also Fisher and Merschman at 130 all of these wrestlers will be pushing deep into the district tournament this season. Also the 285lb weight class should be very interesting with Burley beating the LCC and St. John's wrestlers recently.

Nearfall....all those matches you mentioned are worht price for admission alone. Wish I could be there.
Grub is scary to a point. He just keeps getting better. Great improvement I saw in him from Allen County to Celina. One of guys better post some results tonight. BTW... you better be nice D3 people....You just may have to put up with me at the LCC Sectional. |
