Well, clearly it's been another very productive morning for me once again, rolleyes.gif as I've spent it pondering who in their right mind would put the toilet tissue (yes, I always call it toilet tissue & NEVER toilet paper) roll on so that it would roll from under??? pav.gif
Saw that Cottonelle has brought this much disputed topic to the forefront in an online poll they are having, so I have to know what our RC'rs think about this!!

This is quite a bone of contention for me, so much so that if I must use your 'little girls room' while I'm visiting you, (which I also try to avoid, if at all possible) & find your roll in the 'under position', I will kindly fix it for you! cool.gif

So, tell us how you roll & the reasoning behind, please.

(as I'm re-reading, proofing this, I realise I must have some serious, deep-rooted 'issues' involving this paper product &/or lavatories!!! LOL)

Can't possibly think of a logical reason to roll under. Unless....to lessen splash contamination...ew.

Over. Always over. However, should I find the roll in the under position, I won't go to the trouble of changing it.

It's not on a holder?! You better hope it doesn't roll out of your reach or the question for you will be. "My sock....inside or out?"

I always put my toilet tissue roll in the holder so it rolls out "over". Occasionally my wife will put it in "under" and I will change it.

Anyone use flushable wipes? They have to give you a nice clean feel.

"They HAVE to give you? Come on Obi, don't say it like you don't know. You've been cleaning the good ship hershey with a better brand of deck mop, haven't you?

With the question about using your sock. You would use it outside first. The next time you would turn it inside out, so on and so forth.. Simple answer.

Under! I have a dog and 2 kids and there have been too many times where I walked into the bathroom to find a pile of TP under the empty roll. Apparently, someone likes to spin the roll. If it's under, it just flaps around. If it's over, it piles onto the floor. It's happened more than once and I'm guessing it's the kids over the dog. I've kept it under ever since.
In high school, I was always happy to see it "over". You could pull a big wad out without tearing it from the roll, drop the hunk into the toilet, flush and flush and flush and watch that whole roll spin down the drain. My friends and I were easily ammused...
