Lima Area Wrestling Coaches Association Rankings Options

[Coach_Inglis]

We held our opening rankings meeting this Sunday and had a very low turn out. We also had nearly no results or even rosters from coaches to work from. What we decided to do was rank only the top three wrestlers in each weight class this opening week. We will then expand to our regular top 5 wrestlers after our next meeting on Sunday 12/20/09 when we will have more results to work from. Since we had very little results to work with we realize that there may be some kids who have been omitted. Very nice work again Coach Inglis and other area coaches helping out with these rankings. I know he probably shouldn't be ranked yet but wow that 285 lb wrestler from Delphos looked like quit the beast. Obie handled him with ease but man he did very well against the rest of the field.

The 285 from DSJ is Chris Pohlman. In football he was Div VI defensive player of the year. He wrestled in jr. high and was injured his freshman year. Didn't wrestle as a soph but is back. A great kid and that he did so well after not wrestling since 8th grade is fantastic!

hey what about shawnee's 103s..what are their names? i think its like plauer or something i saw them at alllen county and i personally believe that they should be ranked in the lawca. they look like pretty legit wrestlers.

Just curious..but I recently saw that Obringer (spencerville) lost his first match of the season. Anyone know who he lost to? Was it a good match or injury again?

Obringer lost to Kosta Karageorge of Thomas Worthington, I believe the score was 6-4 but I could be wrong

Tyler's score was more like 6-1. He was on his back for quite a long time.

What criteria would have placed Lovejoy ahead of him?

I realize that it is only my opinion, but I think Derick Minch (Celina) at 160 lbs. deserves mention...he beat your #3 and #4 in duals this year.

not sure, but Minch has a record of 27-7 and so does Blackmore, but Minch has beaten Blackmore twice, and I believe that Brown is 19-14

i also see that at 130 montgomery from mccomb if i do believe has beat brian merschman and cameren clemens but is yet no where on the poll anywhere and placing higher then fisher at LCC. and i agree with greendog
