HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT COACHES PUMPING UP THIER BOYS FOR LEAGUE HONORS? in continental we do not go by thier ability we make it personal ,some of our boys were sold out short due to player and coaches problems, personal problems should be put asside. coaches should be there for the kids. some of the boys would like to go to college to play soccer but did the coach help ?

I've known Steve for ten years and I doubt that he did anything wrong.

I also know Steve really well, I know he did not do this. Just curious if you even know how the system works?

i have went to many continental games this year and i think the right players who made the first team deserved to be on the first team. if your making a reference to a certain 2nd team defender, i would be happy with that honor because it was not well deserved. And that college comment is a little bit ridiculous. steve put his heart and soul into this soccer program and there is no need for you to come on here and make people think otherwise.

Do you honestly think that a College coach cares what awards you get in high school?

coaches dont care about honors , but contacting coaches for college helps out alot ..... my hats off to steve it takes alot of time to coach but lets be fair .
also i am not refering to any certain players alot lot of decent players on the team ,but since you said the player who got second team didnt deserve it, i do believe the boy you are talking about never left a game,

lets put it this way, I know the coach alot more than you my friend. Unless your his family, im sure I really know him more than you. but anyways, your just bitter, sometimes it dont work in your favor, also, the other coaches in the league vote on this kind of stuff, not our head coach. He may put them up for awards, but sometimes when someone is put up, they dont get voted in by other coaches. Just a little something to think about.

well unfortunately i heard thru the grape vine that even miller city's coach who had the 1st team goalie and POY told Steve that his boy WAS the 2nd best goalie in the league..and i'm sure that a few other players could have played that position just as good as one said 2nd team person...just another thought...

and front row i think we both are starting to see who chs fan man is....mmmmmwwwwwaaaaahahahahha

I am quit sure im figuring out who this may be....but if its who I think is its, never once have I put the kid down. I dont remember putting any of these kids down, they are all good for the team, as a matter of fact, I think the kid plays a bigger role than given credit for.

My kids got all kinds of awards in high school. Does any body remember them a few years later. Well heck yeah they do. I remember them and so do they. But nobody else really gives a crap. People get shafted on these awards every year, ( OR SO THEY THINK THEY DO ). Maybe there shouldn't be awards given out at all. There, I just solved the whole problem.
