Ashland University red-shirt junior WR Joe Horn (of Waynesfield-Goshen HS) was named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week after catching 8 passes for 184 yards and 2 TDs (11 and 96 yards). The 96 yarder from Billy Cundiff is the all-time longest passing TD in AU history.

Ashland is 4-3 overall and 4-2 in the GLIAC (currently tied for second). Findlay, Grand Valley and Northern Michigan lead the conference with identical 5-1 records. AU faces Saginaw Valley this week, and returns home next week to face Grand Valley. The Eagles then host Indianapolis and finish the regular season at Findlay. If the Eagles can win out, they should qualify for the playoffs.

Congratulations, Joe and good luck to the Eagles in the remainder of the season.
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run to win, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you get the prize! 1 Cor 9:23
