LB's potent offense will be back with all state mid-fielder Amanada Hyde and 2008 MSSL first team selections Amber Petersen, and Marie Walker. I look for the Eaglettes to continue their sweep through the MSSL plus the upgrade to their non-league schedule I am hoping this will help them in their quest to reach higher goals than last years regional final team. LB's defense will be reconstruted after the graduation of Angie Winkle whom was first team MSSL & second team NW Ohio selection. Coach Larocco will prove that he is committed to moving the Lady Eagle soccer program to the highest level........Go Eaglettes!!

The withdraws have not hit full force yet but one thing for sure is when mid August arrives I will be on some sort of medicine to relieve the pain!!

I have heard from more than one person (including a girl on the team) that the Riverdale girls team is losing members. They started with only 22 players and are down to 13. Word is that there may be more to quit. The girls that stay may end up playing on the boys' JV team.

We got a new coach. From what I hear, his style is very different than the last coach. I don't think things are clicking too well with the players, though. I would like to think that the girls would reconsider and get back on the team (if that is even an option), but I highly doubt that happens. The whole thing is really too bad.

I heard about that, but don't have any other details than that....if it was a forced quit or medical quit or just a plain old I quit. Hope the assistants are ready to step up for players' sake

i heard that they had about 30 girls and had a try-out and cut some, but the principal or super intendent said they had to put that the girls that were cut back on the team
