Predictions will be tough, because I believe there will be numerous last minute weight changes between 130 and 160.

Anyone know of any???

Joking a side I hope at least 4 maybe 5 of my Birds make the final 4!!

I look for AE to take the win as a team but the team to come in second is a toss up between Bluffton, Spencerville and Coldwater.

I would have to think that Dues from A.E. @189, Miller from D.J. @215, and Obringer from Spencerville @ Hvy. are the favorites to win sectional tittles. Who else at other wt. classes?

I believe Begg from Bluffton will take 130, or 135 it just depends on which class he takes. Anyone heard his preference?

He's taking 135 at conference, so he should be at 135 for sectionals?

What does Allen East have? I know both the dues kids are strong, along with many others. Any word on Trey Fisher? I heard he was injured at Van Buren and wasn't coming back.

You guys are all talking like it's only the winner that matters and while that is the truth in most tournaments it's not the picture for this weekend or next. Why not place the top 4 in this thread since its really about the top 4 that go on to Districts/State? smile.gif

Congratulations to the Allen East Mustangs and Coach Abbey. Kudos to all the participants for there hard work and effort. LCC did an outstanding job in hosting the tournament & once again the parents and support of everybody was wonderful. Talked to a couple college coaches who are interested in some of the area grapplers. Great statement for wrestling in this area.

That was kind of a surprise to see the College requiters there, even Ohio University was there. I was to shy to ask outright who they were watching but they told me we had some great wrestling and they liked what they seen. The final results are.......

As always the USA State Tournament ran perfectly I am impressed every year by how smoothly this thing runs. the parents and wrestlers who made it for the first time were overwhelmed by the event. Great job guys.
