Mustangs finally got a home game and opened it up in style putting a 6 to 0 beating on the rockets of pandora. Nick searfoss struck out 14 and only walked 3 and not to mention giving up 0 yes 0 hits a no no. In fact the rockets hit 1 fly ball that made its way outta the infield but only about 2 steps in the outfield grass. They opened it up right and played with all heart for there fallen teamate who they personally dedicated this game to and the rest of the season congratulations to the Mustangs!

man PG must really suck hahaha

probably not as bad as S-ville though..... watching them tonight, i about puked.... guys when there are atleast 6 errors in the first three innings, at the most 8, there is something seriously wrong. Especially when they're easy plays, and then the horrible hitting man, there couldn't have been anymore than 5 hits against a guy that is a below average pitcher, maybe just pretend it's summer and actually score some runs?

Maybe they should go get some of the track team to come back and play ball (Keysor & Obringer). The boys on this team haven't cared whether they win or lose for such a long time, why break a tradition now. I heard that's why some of the good players don't play TIRED OF PLAYING ON A LOSING TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know that 2 or 3 players who want to win can't win it by themselves, so why even try.

this is the NWC...why are we bring PG into this? they suck ok...anyways this is how the NWC will play out from the perspective of a former player.
1. Delphos Jefferson-Pitchers are studs and they will have plenty of hitting to back up pitching
2. Grove-Ostertage was good but bogart brings a much better bat, hitting better than delphos but pitching is not even close
3. Bluffton-young but experienced.....If they are able to hit then they will be hard to beat...Suderman and Cheney are solid 1 and 2 pitching duo
4. LCC-Good contender but will not be able to win as many conference matches without kottenbrock
5. Crestview-Usually always bring a solid team cant count them out....Springer is a great athlete if he is playing this year
6. Paulding-Gotta go with tradition...do not know who all is coming back but if any talent returns from last year then they will be respectable
7. Spencerville-Keysor will be there to pitch but someone better work with his swing...i have never seen the kid hit one the other way
8. Lincolnview-some good players but do not bring talent in all nine spots. will only win because their field sucks and they are used to it.
9. Allen East-I dont know how they can improve from last year with Yetman, Swaney(thought he was a senior this year), and Copeland... Is Swaney not playing? Pitching will for sure suck with hitting that is not impressive.
10. Ada-They will not win a single game in the conference again. they couldnt even win any with their 4 seniors batting the top four. They have little league pitchers and no hitting without last years seniors.

I cant stand to read through all of this and hear people being hyped up on Ada and Allen East. Its ridiculous. Dont be giving your children false-hope. THEY BOTH ARE GOING TO BE A JOKE!!!!
GO PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!

1/2 will be Jefferson and Grove. Jefferson has to not overlook anyone, or take games for granted. Grove needs to concentrate harder on the NWC schedule and not let the PCL get in the way if they want to win the NWC. These teams aren't that different talent-wise. The most consistent defensive team could win it.

3-4 Crestview brings in a more balanced squad than last year. Bluffton seemed to gel last summer - will it carry over?

5 LCC has to learn to win post-Kottenbrock. They were not that good w/o him on the hill last year. More pitching must be developed.

6-8 Lincolnview and Allen East may improve some, but don't have the complete 9 they need. Paulding graduated a deep, talented and driven class last year and must develop inexperienced youth quickly.

9 Spencerville may win a couple behind Dietering if they can defend for a game or two.

10 Ada 's best players didn't seem to care last year, they graduated. Attitude may be better, but talent won't.

I definately am in agreement with Snydes. I think AE could be givin some more credit due to the fact that they have the fire in their hearts to win in memory of a fallen player, and dear friend.

Grove had 8 errors, but still run-ruled Paulding 16-6. Mostly silly errors that can be fixed. Bats are a poppin, and Bogart and Miller were tough on the mound.

The Jeff Cats beat L.C.C. Crestview won a close one. Grove sure must be playing well. Will be interesting when the play my boys at Jefferson. I would like to congratulate the boys from the other side of the county in the Northwest Conference. The young men of Allen East must be off to a good start. And playing with a heavy heart. Hopefully your spring will help with the healing. Anyone hear how Bluffton did tonite?
