The Br0wns win their 4th game in a row and finish the season at 5-11 after a dreadful start. Mangini cleaned house, angered some, played with castoffs and unknowns and very little talent but the team seems to have come together at the end of the year. Mike Holmgren coming on on Monday to go to work, what is going to happen? The talking heads have Mangini as being gone, I am not so sure.
Do we start over yet again or does Holmgren keep Mangini, hire a new OC, get a new QB, keep an old QB or what? I say hire a GM and a veteran OC and give Mangini another year. Lots of draft picks and high hopes after the strong finish, not sure if it makes sense to start all over again.
4 wins to finish the season for the first time since 1986! Win or lose I love my Brownies!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a Browns fan, but I think they have the parts to work with for next year. Work on the right side of the O-line some, give Quinn some WRs (a la Dez Bryant in the 1st Rd.), and shore up some spots on D and they'll be looking pretty good to go. Jerome Harrison has been solid over the stretch run. Granted, the Browns have beaten some pretty bad teams to end the season (Oakland and KC) and beat a Florida team that has issues in the cold (Jax), but beating Pittsburgh certainly was no easy task regardless of who was or wasn't playing!

Yes he will. Bruce Drennen annouced today that he will be back and so will the whole staff. Good or bad we'll find out.

Yep..heard on ESPN..Mangini and his whole staff back. I was not a Mangini fan at beginning of the season with some of the moves he made, but I really think this might be best for Cleveland at this time. With Holgrem in place helping evaluate players and such , I can see this as a positive move

The 2011 collective bargaining agreement and potential strike and elimination of salary cap, etc. helped them decide to keep him. Low risk, low $ decision.

I for one believe it or not was glas Holmgren brought back Mangini for a couple of reasons. With a real front office, he will be left to coach and the team was making strides. If the team continues to improve next year we have a coach in place, if not Jon Gruden or John Fox will be the coach and the team will at least allow us to continue to have the slightest of hope.

I like this move.
Another thing that caught my eye was Weis and Crennel both being hired at KC. (Makes me wonder if they thought it was KFC that was hiring them). A real boon for KC buffets.

Ya we want Mangini back...he brought discpline to the team. I was sick of seeing players get away with whatever they wanted. The players played hard for Mangini and the Browns were one of the least penalized teams in the league. They finished 5-11 despite having nowhere near as much talent as some of the other bottom feeders. They will improve again next year because players have bought into Mangini, not to mention the 11 draft picks the Browns have piled up.
