Mad mad respect for this storied program! So many great seasons, teams and moments. You have much to be proud of, and Coach Elwer is doing a tremendous job of keeping the tradition alive!

Is there any other comparable figures for other teams? Obviously thats an enormous accomplishment, just curious what other NW Ohio teams have similar numbers, id imagine Kalida would be close considering Kortokrax has about 900 himself.

http://ohsaa.org/spo.../boysbasketball Here's a link to the OHSAA site with boys basketball records.
Closest teams are #2 Archbold with 1,635; Findlay with 1,373; St. Henry with1,327; Ottoville with 1,241 and Napoleon with 1,179. Schools need to submit this info.
Incidentally, Ottoville was DSJ's first opponent in 1919. DSJ is at 100 seasons. Did Ottoville skip a season after 1919? If not, this is their 100th season also.

Found on the PCL sport records website that Kalida didn't play its first game until the 1941-42 season. They played a few dozen games between 1915 and 1938.
Also found that the 1960-1964 PCL Tournament finals and consolation games were played at DSJ.

Yes they were I was there all 4 years. DSJ had the best gym in the area at that time. Ottoville's was used during that time also for 1st and 2nd round games.

Anybody know of an archive online (or not) of old gyms in the area? Something about those old gyms , filled with character and all pretty different compared to today's standard
