(4-3) Defiance at Wapak (6-1)
(4-3) Kenton at O-G (3-4)
(2-5) Shawnee at Elida (2-5)
(4-3) Celina at St. Marys (7-0)
(5-2) Van Wert at Bath (0-7)

It was a nice recovery last week from a previous awful week. The consensus went 4-1 as did almost everyone. There were 2 unblemished marks, 3 people got 3 out of 5, & 1 losing record at 2-3. There were 2 unanimous picks and both rolled, with only one game being close in picks.
St. Marys over Bath 14-0 (win)
Van Wert over Elida 14-0 (win)
Wapak over Celina 13-1 (win)
Defiance over O-G 11-3 (loss)
Kenton over Shawnee 9-6 (win)

Stallionaires maintains a 2-game lead as we head into the final stretch of the season, with the people immediately behind spread out pretty well. The big group 5 games back is probably too far behind to catch up.

(4-3) Defiance at Wapak (6-1) Redskins really beginning to gel. Pushing for a postseason run.

(4-3) Kenton at O-G (3-4) Kenton should be getting healthy and will more than the Titans can handle. Close game.

(2-5) Shawnee at Elida (2-5) Indians will take this neighborhood rivalry in a close game.

(4-3) Celina at St. Marys (7-0) Riders win a good hard fought game.

(5-2) Van Wert at Bath (0-7) Cougars continue to push for a playoff berth.

Wapak- I am thinking Defiance's first half off the season was a mirage, i am guessing they don't win another game.
OG- Last week gave me hope and OG always plays Kenton tough.
Shawnee- 2 teams that seem to be going in opposite directions
St. marys- class of the league
VW- Bath continues it's march to a winless season

(4-3) Defiance at Wapak (6-1)
(4-3) Kenton at O-G (3-4)
(2-5) Shawnee at Elida (2-5)
(4-3) Celina at St. Marys (7-0)
(5-2) Van Wert at Bath (0-7)

This is a pretty easy slate of games this week.

Like Maltese I think Defiance goes winless BUT I don't think the first half was a mirage. I think that they are a good football team that needs to learn how to win. They have a buzzsaw these last few games but the program is definitely on the uptick, if you think otherwise you haven't been watching them closely.

Learning how to win takes time.

Wapak - On the upswing.
Kenton - I was surprised how small OG was compared to previous years
Shawnee - Close game
St. Marys - Just too strong
Van Wert - Easy pick

Good teams don’t blow 25 point leads in the 4th quarter, Defiance is an average team at best.

Wapakoneta over Defiance - The Bulldogs are probably finished winning for 2018... But I have been wrong about this team quite a bit this season...

Kenton over Ottawa-Glandorf - The Wildcats should win out, but will that be enough to get into the playoffs?

Shawnee over Elida - The Indians should probably be a game or two better than their record shows. The Bulldogs on the other hand...

St. Marys over Celina - The Roughriders are the class of the league. Let's see if the Bulldogs have one final push in them this season...

Van Wert over Bath - I can't envision this game being close...

Wapak over Defiance - Defiance's strength is on the ground on both offense & defense but Wapak & St. Marys are way ahead of everyone else there.
Kenton over O-G - Kenton seems like the most unpredictable team to me.
Shawnee over Elida - Elida just completed a 3-game run against the top 3 but Shawnee's defense has been better.
St. Marys over Celina - Riders march toward 10-0.
Van Wert over Bath - can 3 WBL teams make the playoffs in region 14?

Wapak
Kenton
Shawnee -- This team has been the hardest for me to figure out. I think they have some good athletes and should have a better record than they do.
St. Marys -- I expect a big crowd for this one, if the rain holds off.

1) Wapak--Blue Dogs will be feeling blue
2) Kenton---hey, reverse psychology worked for the Titans last week
3) Shawnee---Caprella, Coop & Co. will win this border battle
4) St Marys---Rivalry game, though. Remember Riders almost lost to Shawnee
5) Van Wert--won't help in computer points this week, though

Defiance isn't a very good team, but the WBL as a whole is strange week to week. As an OG fan I am giving this view from a titan perspective.

St. Marys is the best team in the league, bath is the worst.

Van Wert beat OG in OT and the cougars have been on a major roll since then and could make some noise in the playoffs,

Celina toyed with OG and have been bad going 0-3 since.

Kenton beat Wapak 15-10, OG beat Kenton 31-0, figure that one out.

Shawnee is all over the place, good and bad

Elida is not good, but they are young and will be good next year or the year after.

That said, my team, OG is a Jekyll and Hyde team
